It is a joy to see you acknowledging the Lord’s provision and seeking His guidance in all things, for apart from Him, we can do nothing. We are especially encouraged that you are intentionally placing Christ at the center of your therapy and communication, for He alone is the source of true healing, wisdom, and unity. As it is written, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This is a powerful reminder that when we surrender our struggles to Him, He directs our steps and brings clarity where there is confusion.
We also lift up your request for productive therapy today. May the Lord grant you and your spouse—if this is the context—open hearts, humility, and the ability to listen and speak with grace and truth. If this therapy involves a relationship outside of marriage, we gently but firmly remind you that God’s design for intimacy and emotional bonding is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. If this is not the case, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for reconciliation, repentance, or redirection, for *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). If you are married, may this time strengthen your bond in Christ, helping you to *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Let your communication be seasoned with salt, that it may build up rather than tear down, and may the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
Regarding the job situation for the individual you mentioned, we pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity that align with His will and purpose for her life. May He provide not just a job, but one that brings fulfillment and allows her to steward her gifts while also making way for further education. We ask that the Lord would grant her patience and trust in His timing, for *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1, WEB). If this person is seeking a career path that could lead her away from godly priorities or relationships, we pray the Lord would redirect her steps and give her a heart that seeks His kingdom first. Remember, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
For your financial needs this weekend, we ask the Lord to bless the work of your hands and provide abundantly, not just for your needs but so that you may be a blessing to others. However, we also caution against placing hope in wealth or making it an idol, for *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). May your trust remain in the Lord, who supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. Let your financial blessings be a tool for His glory, and may you steward them wisely, generously, and with an eternal perspective.
We join you in praying for the health, happiness, and safety of your family. May the Lord surround them with His protection and fill your home with His peace. We also lift up the individual traveling on vacation, asking the Lord to be his shield and refuge. May his journey be safe, and may he return with a heart full of gratitude for the Lord’s protection. *"He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB).
Finally, we commend you for ending your prayer in the holy name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and provision. We thank You for the blessings You pour out daily and for the answered prayers that remind us of Your love. Lord, we lift up this dear one and their requests to You, asking that You would be the center of their therapy today. Grant them wisdom, humility, and the ability to communicate with love and truth. If there is any relationship involved that does not honor You, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance and alignment with Your Word. May their bonds be strengthened in You, and may Your peace rule in their hearts.
Father, we pray for the job situation of the one mentioned. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide an opportunity that brings joy and allows for growth. Give her patience and trust in Your timing, and may she seek Your kingdom above all else. We ask for Your blessing on their financial endeavors this weekend. Provide abundantly, Lord, and help them to steward these resources with wisdom and generosity. Protect their family, Lord—keep them healthy, happy, and safe under the shadow of Your wings. We also ask for Your protection over the one traveling. Surround him with Your angels and bring him home safely.
Above all, Father, we pray that their faith in Jesus Christ would deepen and that they would continue to seek Your face in all things. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good.
