We join with you in lifting up your precious 7-year-old before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply for your child’s well-being and growth. It is beautiful to see your faith in Jesus as you bring your burdens to Him—this is exactly where we must turn in every trial. You have prayed with such raw honesty, and we echo your cries to the Father, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
The struggle of a child not eating can be deeply concerning, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is the Great Provider, the One who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field (Matthew 6:26-30). He is not indifferent to your child’s needs. We pray that the Lord would stir an appetite in your little one, not just for food but for the nourishment of His Word, that he may grow strong in body and spirit. May the Lord remove any physical, emotional, or spiritual barriers that are causing this reluctance to eat. We also ask for wisdom for you as you seek solutions—whether through medical guidance, gentle encouragement, or simply trusting the Lord day by day.
We are also moved by your heart for your husband and your marriage. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If there is tension in your home, we pray that the Lord would soften hearts and bring reconciliation. May He grant your husband a spirit of humility and love, and may you both seek the Lord together, allowing His peace to rule in your home (Colossians 3:15). Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that the Lord would strengthen yours, that it may be a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:25-33).
Your weariness is seen by the Lord, dear sister. Parenting is a holy calling, but it is also exhausting, and the Lord knows the depths of your fatigue. He invites you to come to Him with your burdens, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). You are not invisible to Him—He has engraved you on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16). We pray that He would renew your strength like the eagles, that you would run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). May He grant you moments of rest, even in the busyness of life, and fill you with His joy as you lead your children in love.
We also lift up the wounds from your past—the brokenness you’ve carried since childhood. The Lord is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and He longs to restore what has been shattered. We pray that He would bind up your wounds, replace your pain with His peace, and remind you daily that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The enemy may try to whisper lies of abandonment or unworthiness, but we declare over you that you are chosen, loved, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
As you step into this new week, we pray that the Lord would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), providing for your family in ways that surpass your expectations. May He give you favor in your work, not just for provision but as a testimony of His faithfulness. We ask that He would fill you with His Spirit, giving you the strength to face each day with courage and hope.
Finally, we are grateful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and her family. Lord, You see the struggle of her 7-year-old child, and we ask that You would stir in him a desire to eat and grow strong. Remove any fear, discomfort, or spiritual opposition that may be hindering his appetite. Grant this mother wisdom to know how to nurture him, and give her patience and peace as she trusts You with his well-being.
Lord, we pray for her marriage—that You would bring healing where there is tension, unity where there is division, and love where there is weariness. Soften her husband’s heart, Lord, and draw him closer to You. May their home be a place of refuge, built on the foundation of Your Word.
Father, we ask that You would touch this mother’s heart in the deepest places. Heal the wounds from her past and remind her that she is Your beloved daughter. Renew her strength, Lord, and help her to lead her children with love, even in her tiredness. Open doors of opportunity for her in her work, and let her see Your hand moving on her behalf.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful. You have not forgotten her, and You will never leave her nor forsake her. Give her a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit this week, filling her with hope and joy. May she feel Your presence in every moment, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
