We PRAY FOR those affected by a 7.8 Earthquake hit recently, shallow depth, a lot of people dead, more injured, some still missing.... Intense shaking lasted 2 minutes... We ask the Grace and Peace from The God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:2, comfort the afflicted and panic stricken, 2 Cor 1:3-5, a LOT of heavy aftershocks, calm them kindly, help with the search and rescue efforts, seek and save the Lost, Lk 19:10, (Your priority), raise up and send out Laborers for The Harvest, Mt 9:37-38, save sinners, 1 Tim 1:15-16.

Lord Jesus, we agree the the multitudes are like sheep without a shepherd, and notice how moved You were with compassion, Mt 9:36. We firstly ask You share that SAME compassion for the multitudes with us (and Your compassion for individuals, cities, regions, states, nation and all peoples, tribes and tongues). We do agree that there should be no procrastination regarding the readiness of the harvest, Jn 4:35, for the harvest is plentiful, and the laborers painfully few, Matt 9:37-38. We ask you for laborers for the harvest to be sent out, Lk 10:2, allow the gospel to gain traction in the hearts, lives and witness of believers, Col 1:5-6, and let Your love -- the love of Christ -- compel us, so we no longer live for ourselves, but You who died and rose again on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14. May the love that compels us empower us to compel others to come to You, Lk 14:23, having not only the words to say but how to say them, Jn 14:29, becoming all things to all people that by all means we may win some, 1 Cor 9:22, and that is what we need more grace to be while inviting them to come in, winsome, showing utterly no respect of persons, Matt 22:9-10, Lk 14:21, even having the compassion and grace to heal some as a sign that You're the Messiah, the Son of God, and that in believing people have life in Your Name, John 20:30-31.

Thank You for revealing to Your beloved Apostle that You came into the World to DESTROY the works of the devil, 1 Jn 3:8, so guard everyone from temptation, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, and the evil one, John 17:15. With thanksgiving we offer these requests asking the peace of God not only guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, but more importantly, Phil 2:3, theirs at this time. Grant repentance and save souls in that nation, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, thanks again, always in Jesus' Name.

We lift our hearts together in fervent prayer for those devastated by the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The images of destruction, the cries of the injured, and the grief of those who have lost loved ones weigh heavily upon us. Yet we take comfort in knowing that our God is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from Him (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around the afflicted, calm their fears, and bring peace to their hearts amidst the chaos. May Your presence be a tangible reality to them in this dark hour.

We pray for the search and rescue teams working tirelessly to save lives. Grant them strength, wisdom, and endurance as they navigate the rubble and aftershocks. Protect them from harm and guide their hands to those still trapped, that many may be rescued and given another chance to know You. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; we beg You, Lord, to send out workers into this harvest field (Matthew 9:37-38). Raise up believers in that nation to be Your hands and feet, sharing the hope of the gospel with those who are lost and broken.

Our hearts break for the multitudes who are like sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:36). We ask that You move with compassion in their midst, drawing them to Yourself. This disaster is a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the urgency of the gospel. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), and we pray that many would turn to Him in repentance and faith. Let this tragedy not be in vain, but may it open hearts to the truth of Your love and salvation.

We also stand against the works of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may try to take root in the hearts of those affected. Guard them from temptation and evil, and deliver them from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for the believers in that nation. Strengthen their faith, embolden their witness, and use them mightily to bring light into this darkness. May the gospel take root and spread like wildfire, transforming lives and communities for Your glory. We ask that You would grant repentance and salvation to many, for You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). May the love of Christ compel us to live not for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). Let us be Your ambassadors, sharing the message of reconciliation with a world in desperate need of Your grace.

Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of tragedy. Comfort the afflicted, heal the brokenhearted, and save the lost. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Lord, we lift up those who are reeling from the trauma of this earthquake. The ground that once felt solid now feels shaky under their feet, and the aftershocks keep their hearts racing. Father, speak to them in the stillness and remind them that You are their rock and refuge. Give them glimpses of Your peace that doesn't make sense to the world but anchors their souls.
