We PRAY FOR those affected by a 7.8 Earthquake hit recently, shallow depth, a lot of people dead, more injured, some still missing.... Intense shaking lasted 2 minutes... We ask the Grace and Peace from The God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:2, comfort the afflicted and panic stricken, 2 Cor 1:3-5, a LOT of heavy aftershocks, calm them kindly, help with the search and rescue efforts, seek and save the Lost, Lk 19:10, (Your priority), raise up and send out Laborers for The Harvest, Mt 9:37-38, save sinners, 1 Tim 1:15-16.

Lord Jesus, we agree the the multitudes are like sheep without a shepherd, and notice how moved You were with compassion, Mt 9:36. We firstly ask You share that SAME compassion for the multitudes with us (and Your compassion for individuals, cities, regions, states, nation and all peoples, tribes and tongues). We do agree that there should be no procrastination regarding the readiness of the harvest, Jn 4:35, for the harvest is plentiful, and the laborers painfully few, Matt 9:37-38. We ask you for laborers for the harvest to be sent out, Lk 10:2, allow the gospel to gain traction in the hearts, lives and witness of believers, Col 1:5-6, and let Your love -- the love of Christ -- compel us, so we no longer live for ourselves, but You who died and rose again on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14. May the love that compels us empower us to compel others to come to You, Lk 14:23, having not only the words to say but how to say them, Jn 14:29, becoming all things to all people that by all means we may win some, 1 Cor 9:22, and that is what we need more grace to be while inviting them to come in, winsome, showing utterly no respect of persons, Matt 22:9-10, Lk 14:21, even having the compassion and grace to heal some as a sign that You're the Messiah, the Son of God, and that in believing people have life in Your Name, John 20:30-31.

Thank You for revealing to Your beloved Apostle that You came into the World to DESTROY the works of the devil, 1 Jn 3:8, so guard everyone from temptation, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, and the evil one, John 17:15. With thanksgiving we offer these requests asking the peace of God not only guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, but more importantly, Phil 2:3, theirs at this time. Grant repentance and save souls in that nation, 2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, thanks again, always in Jesus' Name.

We lift our voices together in prayer and intercession for those affected by the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Our hearts ache for the lives lost, the injured, and those still missing. We cry out to the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

Father, we ask that You would calm the panic-stricken hearts of those experiencing the trauma of this disaster. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for the search and rescue efforts, that many more lives would be saved, and that the workers would be protected from harm.

Lord Jesus, we are reminded of Your words, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send out laborers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:37-38) We ask that You would raise up and send out laborers to this nation, that they may share the hope and comfort found only in You. May the gospel gain traction in the hearts and lives of believers, bearing fruit and growing in every good work (Colossians 1:5-6).

We pray that the love of Christ would compel us and all believers to no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). May we be winsome and compassionate, showing no partiality as we invite all to come to You (Matthew 22:9-10, Luke 14:21). Grant us the words to say and the wisdom to know how to say them, that we may become all things to all people, that by all means we may save some (1 Corinthians 9:22).

Lord, we thank You for revealing to us that You came into the world to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We ask that You would guard everyone affected by this disaster from temptation, evil, and the evil one (Matthew 6:13, John 17:15). Protect them from those who would seek to take advantage of their vulnerability.

We pray for the salvation of souls in this nation. May they come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:1-4). We ask that You would grant repentance to those who do not know You, that they may turn from their sins and receive eternal life (2 Peter 3:9).

Heavenly Father, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving, asking that Your peace would not only guard our hearts and minds but also the hearts and minds of those affected by this earthquake. May they come to know You as their Shepherd and find rest in Your loving care.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

May we pray fervently for the survivors of this overwhelming disaster, that the God of all hope would grant them strength and courage to face the days ahead. We ask for divine protection over those working tirelessly in rescue efforts, that they would be shielded from harm and guided to those still in need. Let us also lift up the first responders and medical teams, that they would be filled with wisdom and compassion as they provide care and support.

Father, we know You are near to the brokenhearted, and we ask that You would draw close to each person impacted by this tragedy. May they feel Your presence and know that You are their refuge and strength. We pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones, that Your peace, which passes all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We also ask that this time of crisis would open hearts to the message of hope found in You. May the body of Christ rise up to share the love and truth of the Gospel in practical ways, reflecting Christ’s love through acts of service and kindness. Let this season of sorrow be a catalyst for spiritual awakening, drawing people to repentance and faith in Jesus.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer for those affected by the devastating 7.8 earthquake. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted up the injured, the missing, the grieving, and all those impacted by this tragedy. We have prayed fervently for God’s comfort to surround them, for His peace to calm their fears amidst the aftershocks, and for His strength to sustain those involved in search and rescue efforts.

We have also joined you in asking the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into this broken and hurting place, that the lost may be sought and saved, and that the love of Christ would compel believers to share the hope of the Gospel with compassion and urgency. We have pleaded with God to guard hearts from fear, evil, and despair, and to reveal Himself as the God of all comfort in the midst of this suffering.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—whether through lives saved, hearts comforted, or laborers raised up—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. If the needs remain unmet, we want you to know that we are still standing with you.
