Beloved of All
We are 4 heirs of the house but when me and my husband use to live there they harassed us went around the family spreading gossip and lies on our names so we finally decide to move out for the welll-being of myself, my husband and kidss because they lived at the backyard but still wakt everu inheritance my husband late parents left behind becuase of greed and selfishnes. We moved out my late in laws house my husband brother and wife didn't pay water and tax so the bill went sky high plus they using substance my husband finally decide to sell the house now we looking like the villain in the storey we can't allow them to break the house further down at the end my husband will get nothing of his parents inheritance his brother just want everything on silver platter my husband worked for his parents while the brother never did

We have heard your burden and we are carrying it with you before the Lord in Jesus name. It is painful to be harassed in your own family home, to have gossip and lies spread about you, and to feel forced to leave for the peace and well being of your marriage and your children. We understand why you moved out and why the decision to sell the house now feels heavy, as though you are being made to look like the villain when you are trying to be good stewards of what your husband's late parents left behind.

The Lord sees what is done in secret and what is spoken behind closed doors, and He calls us to a different way. Scripture warns us about the harm of gossip and slander, for a perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends Proverbs 16:28, and you shall not go around as a slanderer among your people Leviticus 19:16. We gently rebuke the spirit of gossip and greed that has divided this family, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10 and Jesus Himself warned, beware Beware of covetousness, for a man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses Luke 12:15. Wanting everything on a silver platter while neglecting responsibility and while not paying what is due for water and taxes is not diligence or honor, and the Word reminds us that a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children Proverbs 13:22 and that we are to provide and care for our households with integrity 1 Timothy 5:8. We also must address with love that the use of substances dishonors the body and clouds judgment, for wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler, whoever is led astray by them is not wise Proverbs 20:1 and do not be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit Ephesians 5:18. Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and we pray for deliverance and sobriety for your brother in law and his wife.

We want to encourage you that choosing peace by moving out was not failure, it was wisdom. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, and blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God Matthew 5:9. At the same time, peace does not mean enabling destruction or allowing an inheritance to be wasted through neglect and debt. It is wise and biblical to protect what has been entrusted to you, for the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5. Selling the house to prevent further decay and unjust loss is a matter of stewardship, not villainy, and the Lord will vindicate your motives in His time, commit your way to Yahweh, trust also in Him, and He will do this Psalm 37:5. We encourage you to continue to walk in forgiveness while also setting clear and lawful boundaries, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to God's wrath Romans 12:19, and to seek both godly counsel and wise legal counsel so that all four heirs are dealt with justly and transparently. Keep careful records, honor what is owed for taxes and debts, and let all things be done decently and in order. We also affirm your marriage, we thank God that you and your husband are standing together as one flesh as God designed marriage to be between a man and a woman for life, and that you are protecting your children together.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace with Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9, for He alone can bring true reconciliation, forgiveness of sins, and healing to this family.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this wife, her husband, and their children to You. Lord, You know the hurt of lies spoken against them, the grief of leaving their home, and the weight of being misunderstood. We ask You to surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 and to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give them wisdom generously as You promise to those who ask James 1:5 for every decision about this house and inheritance, let it be done with honesty, fairness, and without greed. Convict the hearts of those who have gossiped and acted selfishly, bring them to repentance, and deliver the brother and his wife from substance use, set them free and make them whole. We ask You to be their defender when they are called villains, for You see in secret and You will repay openly. Provide for this family, restore what has been lost or wasted, and let reconciliation be possible if it is Your will, but above all let Your justice and mercy prevail. We cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7 and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you and your husband. You moved out to protect your own peace and your kids, and now you are carrying both the financial burden of unpaid bills and the pain of being gossiped about and cast as the villain for trying to stop the house from falling further apart. It makes sense you would feel hurt and torn.

It is a hard place to be when one person worked faithfully to honor his parents and another seems to want the benefit without the responsibility, especially when substance use is part of the picture. Wanting what is fair for your husband is not greed, it is stewardship of what his parents left behind.

When a family story gets tangled like this, it often helps to take the decision out of the family argument and put it into a clearer, calmer process. One practical step we have seen help is to get impartial guidance together, a trusted legal advisor about the inheritance and sale, and if possible a neutral third party to help mediate communication, so everything is documented, bills and taxes are accounted for, and no one has to argue the facts alone. Keeping records and letting that process speak can also protect you from having to answer every piece of gossip.

We are praying for wisdom and protection for your household as you walk this out.

Father, we lift this family to You. You see the hurt, the strain on their marriage and children, and the weight of this inheritance dispute. Give them wisdom for each next decision, provision for what they need, and peace in their home. Guard their hearts from bitterness and guide all involved toward what is just and honest. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your sorrow has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard with tender sympathy the heaviness that has come upon your household. To be harassed in your own dwelling, to have your names made the subject of gossip and lies among your own kindred, and then to be counted as villains when you seek only what is just and needful, is a bitter trial. Yet it is not a strange thing, for slander is a rod under which many of the Lord's people have smarted before you, and He knows how to appoint both care and calumny for our good.

You acted with wisdom and love in removing your family from strife for the well being of yourselves and your children. Peace in the home is a precious mercy, and when a house is filled with contention it is no failure of duty to seek a quiet habitation. The Lord who entered into covenant with Noah to preserve him and his family alive still watches over the households that seek to walk before Him in uprightness.

Concerning this earthly inheritance, we would have you take a true survey of it. There is an inheritance which God has prepared for His saints and given to them by a Covenant of Salt, and it is exceedingly broad. When we first come to Christ by faith we obtain the pardon of sin, and that is but the beginning of entering in. Yet we are often as petty princelings when we might have an imperial inheritance, wandering up and down and not yet taking possession of all that is ours in Christ. Remember then that while this house and its title deeds require care and honesty before men, your chief possession is not in bricks and taxes but in Him who says, All things are yours. Look first to that heavenly portion which no brother can waste and no bill can encumber.

For the earthly matter, seek to act with a clear conscience and with lawful wisdom. You shall not require to contend in bitterness, but you may and should examine the title deeds with plain honesty. If stewardship has been neglected and debts for water and tax have been allowed to rise, and if substance abuse has brought further waste, it is not greed to desire that what a faithful son worked for should not be broken down and lost. It is stewardship. Let your husband seek godly and lawful counsel, that what is done may be done justly, openly, and without revenge, leaving no room for the charge of selfishness. To sell what cannot be kept in peace may be the most merciful course for all, lest the house be ruined and none receive benefit.

We will pray for you, for your husband, and for your children, that the Lord would guard your hearts from bitterness, vindicate your names in His own time, and give you wisdom in every step. We will pray also for your husband's brother and his wife, that the Lord would deliver them from the bondage of substance abuse, awaken them to their duty, and bring them to repentance and sobriety. We will pray that the gossip and lies may cease, and that the whole family may yet know the grace that makes men to live as sons of God, for those who are quickened and brought into the family of God bear one never failing mark.

Let family prayer be maintained in your own home with double zeal. It is the nutriment of family piety and the castle of a Christian household. There pour out your cares together, and ask the Lord to make your home a place of grace even while this outward trouble continues.

We lift this prayer together:

O Father, Thou who seest all wrongs and hearest every false word, look in mercy upon this family. Grant to Thy servants peace from strife, wisdom in dealing with this inheritance, and integrity in all their dealings. Provide for their daily needs, protect their children, and keep them from the spirit of greed on the one hand and from being defrauded on the other. Have mercy upon the brother and his wife, break the power of that which enslaves them, and bring them to seek Thee. Let truth prevail over slander, and let Thy will be done concerning this house, as Thou seest best. Above all, give to each heart a firm hold upon the inheritance that fadeth not away, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain and burden have been heard, and I thank you for sharing so honestly what you and your husband and children have walked through. To leave a home that held so many memories in order to protect the peace and well being of your family is a difficult and often misunderstood choice, and it is understandable that you feel hurt at being made to look like the villain when you were trying to act with care and responsibility.

It is a deep wound when those who should be closest spread gossip and lies. Scripture reminds us that when someone slanders you to others, God is the one who will require an account, not those who heard the words. The one who slanders adds to his own burden before God, while you are called to leave that judgment to the Lord and to keep your own heart free from bitterness. It does not make the sting less real, but it can free you from needing to defend yourself before every person who heard the gossip. God knows the truth of what happened in that house and why you left.

Inheritance matters so often bring wave after wave of strife that can pull a family far from the harbor of truth. After a death there must be questions about the will and the distribution, and about bills and upkeep, and each question can become another wave. That is why it is so important to fasten yourselves to Christ in this season and not be carried away by greed or resentment on any side. Your desire is not simply to take something for yourselves, but to steward faithfully what your husband's parents left behind and to prevent what they built with their labor from being broken down through neglect, unpaid taxes and bills, and the harm that comes with substance use. That is a responsible concern.

I encourage you to continue to seek peace where it is possible, as far as it depends on you, while also acting wisely. Seek godly counsel and also sound legal counsel so that any sale or division is done lawfully, transparently and fairly, with clear records that protect all heirs. Do not return evil for evil, and do not let the greed or choices of others shape your character. Pray for your brother in law and his wife, especially where substance use is present, that God would bring them to clarity, repentance and help. Set clear boundaries that protect your children and your home, and keep communication truthful and calm, even when you are misrepresented.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, you see this family and every detail of this inheritance and this hurt. You know the labor that was given, the gossip that was spoken, the bills that went unpaid, and the pain of being misunderstood. Bring peace where there has been strife, truth where there have been lies, and wisdom for every decision about this house. Provide for this husband and wife and their children, guard their hearts from bitterness, and keep them anchored in Christ. Work in the heart of the brother and his wife, bring freedom from all that enslaves them, and lead all involved toward what is just and honest. Let your will be done and let this family find rest in knowing that you are their true inheritance and their harbor. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and salvation, Amen.
