We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for healing in your household. We bring before the Lord your loved one who is coughing so much and all your family who are suffering in the same way, and we ask for His mercy and care over each of you.

We pray that God, who is the true physician of both body and soul, would touch you with His healing hand, ease this cough, relieve your distress and restore you to full health. We ask Him to strengthen you, to give wisdom for any care and treatment that is needed, and to grant you rest and comfort as you wait on Him.

Even in times of sickness we can give thanks, trusting that He is present with us and works for our good. May He guard you and all your loved ones, keep you in His peace, and bring you renewed strength and health according to His gracious will. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this need. We are praying for you and for everyone in your household who has been struggling with this cough.

We bring your loved ones before the Lord and ask for His healing touch upon each one. We believe that God still heals today and that He is able. At the same time we recognize that we do not fully understand all of His ways in healing, why some experience immediate relief and others experience a slower recovery. What we do know is that every true healing is from Him.

Scripture shows us that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes it was instant, sometimes it was gradual, sometimes with a touch, sometimes only with a word, sometimes from a distance. He was not confined to one pattern. In the same way today, God can heal instantly by His power, and He also heals through the ordinary processes He has built into our bodies. The natural processes of recovery are themselves part of His divine design, for He is the Creator of our bodies and of all the means of restoration. Whether healing comes quickly or step by step, it is still His work.

We also remember that His care touches the whole person, body, mind and spirit, and He brings peace and strength even while we wait for physical improvement.

So we pray that the Lord will ease this cough, restore strength and health to each person in your home, give wisdom for any care that is needed, and guard your family with His peace. As it is written, He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and we trust in His compassion and power.

Please keep us updated on how everyone is doing so we can continue to pray. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you, and let His healing and sustaining grace be evident in your home.
