We are joining you in prayer for your loved one who has been coughing so much and for everyone in your household who has been struggling with this same illness, and we bring your loved ones before the Lord together seeking His will in Jesus' name.
We know how worrying it is when sickness lingers in the home and affects those we love most, and we are reminded that the Lord sees your concern and hears your cry for help. Scripture tells us to bring every care to Him, for He is our healer and our refuge. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Exodus 15:26 where the Lord declares, I am Yahweh who heals you. And we are encouraged in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now for healing and strength. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear loved one and all the family in this home who are coughing and unwell. We ask for Your healing touch upon their lungs and bodies, that You would ease the coughing, restore clear breathing, and grant restful sleep and renewed strength. We ask You to remove any infection or irritation and to protect them from further illness. Grant wisdom to seek proper medical care and to find the right treatment, and give peace to anxious hearts as they wait on You. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask that You would restore health to this household according to Your perfect will and for Your glory.
We also want to gently encourage you, because we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share how important this is, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus and His sacrifice for our sins that we can come boldly to God in prayer with assurance that He hears us.
We encourage you to continue to pray in Jesus' name, to rest in His care, and to also seek wise medical counsel, stay hydrated, get rest, and care for one another in love while you recover. We are trusting with you for the Lord's healing and protection over all your loved ones, and we pray that He will bring comfort, health, and renewed strength to your home very soon.

Your request concerning ### and the coughing that has spread through your household has been heard with tender sympathy, and we bring it before the Lord with you.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How gracious it is that while we use all lawful means for recovery, we have a greater Physician still. There is but one sacred Fountain to wash therein is health, it was opened on Calvary. There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one, and Jesus is His name. He is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue.
We pray that the Lord Jesus will spread the healing virtue of those leaves over ### and over each loved one in your home. May His cool hand touch the fevered frame, ease the cough, restore clear breathing and bring back strength. You know how it is with our bodies, if we suffer long from illness, when the pain is gone there is a dreadful weakness left and restoration is a long process. Wonder not if recovery should be slow, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger, acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection, for it is written, I will strengthen them in the Lord.
We ask the Father to bless the means that are used, to give wisdom to those who care for you, to keep your household in His gracious keeping, and to let the abiding power of His healing leaves keep you in health till the glory life begins. May this affliction draw you all nearer to Him who Himself bore our sicknesses, and may you prove that pardon and healing flow from the same pierced hand.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life.
