Thank you for sharing this burden and allowing us to pray with you. We join you in bringing your loved one before the Lord and asking for His mercy and healing.
We pray for her now, that God in His compassion would guard her body and grant her comfort and strength. If this cough and mucus is the sign of a cold or other passing sickness, we ask the Lord to bring a quick and complete recovery, and to keep it from becoming anything more serious. We pray that He who is the God of mercies would deliver her and restore her to health, and give you peace as you care for her.
We also lift up your entire family as you asked. We pray for your health, that God would protect you and sustain you each day. We pray for your goodness, that He would help you to hear His word carefully and to live it faithfully with fortitude and love. And we pray above all for your salvation, that each one in your household would know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and would work it out with faith and reverence, continuing in His grace.
Do not be anxious, but continue to watch over her with love, and seek the help of physicians as needed, trusting that God works both through prayer and through the remedies He has provided. Keep praying, keep hearing the word, and keep entrusting your family to Christ who loves you and gave Himself for our salvation.
