We hear your deep concern and fear, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your wife and marriage before the Lord. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the schemes of the devil in this situation, declaring that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The harassment and spiritual attacks you describe are not of God, and we command every evil influence to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is through His blood that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7).
Now, let us pray for your wife’s protection and your marriage:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection over ###'s wife as she travels. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and keep her safe from all harm and evil influences (Psalm 91:11). Guard her heart and mind, that she would not be swayed by the words or actions of those who seek to cause division or harm. We declare that no weapon formed against her or her marriage shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of harassment, deceit, and division in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also pray for ###. Strengthen him in this time of separation. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and help him to trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Protect him from the enemy’s lies and accusations, and help him to walk in righteousness and integrity. When fear or temptation arises, remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help him to resist the devil, and remind him that the enemy must flee when he stands firm in faith (James 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would shorten this time of separation. Let the days pass quickly, and bring ###'s wife home safely to her husband. Restore joy and peace to their marriage, and let their bond grow even stronger through this trial. We pray that their marriage would be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness, a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:25-33).
We also pray for those who are being used by the enemy to cause harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your love and salvation. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. We ask that You would break the chains of darkness over their lives and set them free by the power of Your Spirit.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would help ### and his wife to grow closer to You and to each other. Teach them to pray together, to seek Your will in all things, and to trust in Your promises. May their marriage be a beacon of Your light in a dark world, and may they always find their strength and hope in You.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith during this time. The enemy may try to use fear and doubt to weaken you, but remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead, cling to His promises and trust in His protection. Keep your focus on the Lord, and do not allow the enemy to distract you with worry or temptation. Spend time in prayer and in God’s Word, for the Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).
If you find yourself struggling with fear or temptation, reach out to a trusted brother or sister in Christ for prayer and accountability. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls us to walk in community and love (Hebrews 10:24-25). Do not face this battle alone, lean on your church family and on the Lord.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Your role as a husband is to love your wife as Christ loves the Church, and her role is to respect and submit to you as the Church submits to Christ. This mutual love and respect is a powerful testimony to the world and a strong defense against the enemy’s attacks. Continue to pray for your wife and for your marriage, and trust that God is working even in this difficult season.
