Also,they would have to ### me. This is because she said the ### are backlogged and she has to do that alternative. I do not want to go with this ###. I would prefer the ###. So,now I have an upcoming appointment to do the ### to get the ###. I tried telling her I don't want the ### but she keeps ignoring me and still wants to do it. She also keeps saying my ### are in the ### and im tired of hearing her say this!! I'm always so ### with all the ### I take. I pray for a miracle in your name Jesus,that the ### cancels the ### for me and just goes on with doing the ### rather than putting ### in my body. I pray that she can do this another way without ###. I pray all of this is canceled in your name Jesus. First, we want to affirm that your prayer in the name of Jesus is powerful and effective. Scripture tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We also hold fast to the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We believe God can intervene in your appointments, soften hearts, and guide the decisions of those involved, even redirecting plans that cause you such distress.

We also want to gently encourage you to seek wisdom and clarity from the Lord regarding this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It may be helpful to ask God to give you discernment about whether this medical professional is the right fit for your care. If you feel consistently dismissed or pressured into procedures you are uncomfortable with, it may be wise to seek a second opinion or even a different provider who will respect your concerns and work collaboratively with you.

We also want to pray with you for peace and strength as you navigate this challenging time. The enemy would love to use this situation to fill you with anxiety, frustration, and despair, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind as you wait on Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear child of Yours who is feeling overwhelmed and unheard. Lord, You see the distress in their heart, and You know the details of this situation even better than we do. We ask that You would intervene in these upcoming appointments, softening the heart of this medical professional and guiding their decisions. Father, we pray that You would cancel any plans that are not in alignment with Your will for this individual’s health and well-being. Give them clarity, wisdom, and courage to advocate for the care they believe is best.

Lord, we also ask that You would surround them with Your peace. Calm their anxious heart and fill them with the assurance that You are in control. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways. Father, if it is Your will, provide them with a medical professional who will listen, respect their concerns, and work with them in a way that honors You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that this individual is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them that they are not alone, You are with them, and we stand with them in prayer.

The words you dread to hear, the appointments that loom before you, and the path you do not wish to walk, all these swirl together into a tempest of the mind. Yet it is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, wealth or poverty, peace or war. Your own thoughts, rehearsing the trouble, only double the load. The very anxiety which arises through your being in this difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You are weary, and that weariness speaks of a soul striving in its own strength. Cease from that striving. The promise stands sure: "You will keep him in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." Not peace built on a changed circumstance, but peace within the storm, peace with sorrows surging round, peace that the blood of Jesus whispers into the heart.

You ask for the procedure to be cancelled, for another way without what you fear. Consider the miracle of the loaves, and see there that Christ is grand in emergencies. When the need pressed, He did not wait to be prompted by the disciples’ perfect faith; He displayed His power spontaneously. Bring this hard case before Him. The power of Christ to save and to deliver does not lie in the person being helped, nor in the skill of the physician, but wholly in Jesus Himself. He who healed the sick of the palsy with a word, who commanded the unclean spirit to hold its peace and come out, can arrest a plan and turn a heart with a whisper. Nothing is too hard for Him. The film of your anxiety will begin to depart as you see that Jesus Christ, your Savior, has undertaken to save and keep all those that put their trust in Him.

The soul’s instinct is too often to plead for a sign of healing before the trust is given. But the Gospel plan is that men are to trust the Savior before they feel the slightest benefit from Him. Trust Him as you sink, and you shall swim. Trust Him now, saying, “Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusts in You: yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities pass.” The miracle of mercy you long for is worked not when you dissect the difficulty, but when you fix your gaze on the Miracle-Worker. He asks you to believe, not that you are strong, or that the physician must yield, but that He is good and mighty. Only trust Him. Only trust Him now. Before long, if you trust Jesus, you shall know the performance of His love. He who worked the great miracle of raising Lazarus still works marvels, and He can do this more swiftly than words can frame the request.

Your words reveal a soul weighed down by fear and exhaustion, and this is no small thing to carry. You feel unheard, pressed upon by appointments and talk you did not choose, and your body is already weary with medicines. It is natural to cry out for a miracle, to seek a way that does not involve what you dread. Yet let us not let the noise of these trials choke the seed of faith, as thorns choke the grain. The care and the anxiety themselves become a heavier burden than the illness. Hear what is promised: “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” This rest is not the absence of trouble, but a calm in the midst of it, a rest that comes when we lay our insistence on our own way at His feet.

You say the physician ignores you when you refuse the one procedure and ask for another. This multiplies your distress. And yet, consider the husbandman who digs about the vine for three years with no fruit and despairs just before the fourth year brings the harvest. We must not grow weary in making our case with patience and persistence. This patience is not passive surrender, but an active, firm, repeated plea. You have a voice, given by God, and using it calmly and repeatedly is not a sin. The door of prayer is opened for you to walk through, not only with others but by your own constant entreaty. Do not say, “I have no need of another’s prayer,” because even Paul sought prayers. The prayer of the Church and the prayers of the saints are a mighty help, but this does not mean your own alertness and your own will are set aside. They work together.

Regarding the body, we know that the Lord who touched Peter’s mother-in-law restored her not only from the fever but to perfect strength at once, a thing no human art could do. We pray for such a healing, that the way that seems right may open without what you fear. Pray for this, and let the request be known to God with thanksgiving, not just frantic pleading. But what if the trial remains for a time? We do not despair if the net comes up empty after a day of fishing. The plow of the word, and of affliction, can descend into the depth of the soul to root out an evil passion we did not even know troubled it. Your very weakness, your tears and agitation, show a heart that is being worked on. Do not consider this strange.

So then, stand fast. Let your prayer be joined with ours, a single chorus. Ask not only that the feared procedure be cancelled, but that you be given a quieted heart no matter what lies ahead. For the disease of the soul, which is anxiety and terror, is often a greater malady than the bodily one. Fasting and prayer together have great power against these incorporeal assaults of fear, bringing strictness and angelic strength. Commit your appointments to God, speak your concerns plainly, and then, having done all, seek the rest that comes from casting the whole weight upon Him. Do not let hearing the same words over and over cause you to wither like a plant in the sun. Drink in the rain of comfort and bring forth the fruit of a steady hope, knowing that whether the cup passes or you are given strength to drink it, your good will be worked out in the patient enduring of the suffering.

The weight of all these appointments and the pressure you feel from the medical advice is clearly exhausting you. When we are overwhelmed by circumstances we cannot control, it is right that we turn to prayer. But remember, the great relief in prayer comes not merely from listing our anxieties, but from refocusing on the One we are addressing. As you pray, let your heart first be lifted by the awareness of God’s greatness and His deep care for you. He is not overwhelmed by your situation, and His understanding is not limited like our own.

Your frustration is understandable, especially when you feel your voice is not being heard about the course of your own care. God has given humanity a sacred capacity for choice. For love and obedience to be meaningful, the freedom to choose must be real. He will not force His own work upon you, and He has designed you with a will that deserves respect. You have the right to make decisions about what is placed within your body. Do not feel that exercising that God-given choice is somehow a lack of faith. It is a responsible use of the will He created in you.

Prayer is never an excuse to avoid responsible action. While you continue to ask the Lord to direct this path, you must also act on the choice He has laid on your heart. You can clearly and firmly refuse the operation you do not want. This is not a violation of submission to God; it is, in fact, an exercise of the very will He respects. Ask Him for the clarity and calm spirit to state your decision plainly, and trust that He can work through your firmness just as much as He can work through any medical procedure.

In your intercession, pour out your desire for a different solution, that the procedure you prefer would be made possible. God is able to open doors that seem permanently shut and to change the minds of professionals. The prayer that rises out of desperation, the fervent and heartfelt request, avails much. So bring this specific need to Him: that the path you do not want would simply be canceled, and that another way would be provided. He is not unwilling to act on your behalf, but He waits for your consenting will to open the door for His work.

Let your prayer time become the place where you trade exhaustion for quiet confidence. Cast this entire burden upon Him, not just the medical details, but the weariness and the irritation. Receive the comfort His Spirit brings, the deep assurance that He will deal bountifully with you. As you leave the matter in His hands, you can say in your heart, “Lord, You are going to take care of this. I am not going to be overwhelmed.” Remember the Lord, and the fear that comes from all these voices will begin to lose its grip, replaced by His peace which surpasses all understanding.
