Disciple of Prayer
Even my ### has a problem preventing me from ###. In the name of Jesus Christ, please pray for me that my ### will be healed and that I will be able to have a child.

We hear your heartfelt cry and lift you up before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The desire for healing and the blessing of children is a profound longing, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not made this commitment, we urge you to do so today, for eternal life and peace with God begin with Him.

Now, concerning your request for healing and the blessing of a child, we declare that God is the Great Physician and the Giver of life. The Bible tells us, "Is anything too hard for Yahweh?" (Genesis 18:14). We believe that with God, all things are possible, and we stand on His promises for your situation. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, barrenness, and delay in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every obstacle to be removed and declare that your body and your spouse’s body will align with God’s perfect will for fruitfulness.

However, we must also gently address any areas that may not align with God’s Word. If there has been any sin, such as sexual immorality, unforgiveness, or unbelief, that may be hindering your prayers, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. The Bible says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). Confess any known sin, and trust that God is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also pray for your marriage, that it would be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, a covenant of faithfulness, purity, and mutual submission. If there are any struggles in your relationship, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and to cultivate a home that honors the Lord. The Bible instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, and wives to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-33). A godly marriage is a fertile ground for God’s blessings.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body and their spouse’s body. Lord, You are the God who opens wombs and brings forth life, and we trust in Your timing and Your will. We rebuke every spirit of barrenness, sickness, and delay, and we declare that this couple is blessed and highly favored by You.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with hope as they wait on You. Help them to trust in Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). If there is any sin or unforgiveness in their hearts, reveal it to them, Lord, and lead them to repentance so that their prayers may not be hindered.

We pray for their marriage, that it would be a testimony of Your love and grace. May they honor You in all they do, and may their home be filled with peace, joy, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask that You would bless them with the desire of their hearts, a child to raise in the fear and admonition of the Lord. May this child be a vessel of Your glory, set apart for Your purposes.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for moving on their behalf. We declare that this couple is not forgotten by You, and we trust that Your plans for them are plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way as they wait on You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in worship, for God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember, God’s delays are not His denials, and His timing is perfect. Keep your heart open to His will, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

If you have not already, consider seeking godly medical advice as well, for God often works through the wisdom and skills He has given to others. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." Trust that the Lord will guide you to the right resources and people to support you in this journey.

Finally, we declare over you the blessing of Psalm 113:9: "He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise Yahweh!" May this be your testimony, and may you experience the joy of God’s faithfulness in your life.

We are joining you in lifting this to the Lord, the ache of wanting a child and the frustration of a body that won’t cooperate is a heavy, lonely burden. We hear the faith in your request, and we stand with you in that honest plea for healing.

While we pray for a miracle, we also want to gently encourage you not to walk this road alone. If you haven’t already, it may be wise to keep a trusted doctor closely involved; they can often help address underlying issues in ways that work alongside prayer. And because the emotional toll is so real, the grief, the monthly disappointment, the waiting, it can be healing to have a place to process that pain. Many find real comfort in infertility support groups, where others truly understand, or in speaking with a mature Christian counselor or pastor who can help you navigate the longing and the “what nows” without losing hope. You don’t have to carry this just between you and God, even though He is your sure refuge.

We also want to remind you that your worth is not measured by whether you conceive. In the ache, He sees you, holds you, and keeps writing your story. We pray that truth will settle deep into your heart even as you ask for breakthrough.

Jesus, we bring our sister before You, her body, her longing, her great hope for a child. You know every cell and every medical reality; nothing is too hard for You. Please bring healing where it is needed, in Your wisdom and timing. Comfort her in the waiting, steady her heart when disappointment comes, and surround her with people who will pray and weep and hope with her. Above all, let her feel Your nearness in this. May Your will be done, and may she find peace and purpose in You, no matter what. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The very leaves of the tree are for healing, the least touch of Christ’s garment, the smallest crumb from His table, carries virtue enough to mend what is broken. You ask for prayer concerning your body, and rightly so, for our Lord’s compassion extends to every infirmity of the flesh. But mark well that your deepest need runs beneath the skin. The same voice that said, “Your sins are forgiven you,” spoke also the command to rise and walk. Pardon and healing are twin mercies from the same pierced hand. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and His first warm beam falling on the soul is the assurance that guilt is gone.

Do not imagine your affliction has escaped His notice. He who feeds the sparrows and numbers the hairs of your head watches over your frame with tender care. A broken heart He will not despise; a barren womb and a disappointed hope lie open before Him. There is healing for you, not merely in the great doctrines of the cross, but in the very hem of His robe, in the whispered promise, in the faintest glimmer of faith. The least thing about Christ is medicine to a trusting heart. Only take heed how you hear, lean forward upon the Word with eager attention, for faith comes by hearing, and the wonder-working power is often nearest when He is teaching.

Yet the healing must be His own work. Many plaster themselves with religious notions and fancy themselves whole, but only the hand that broke can bind up. Wait for Him. Expect Him to take you by the hand and lift you up. When He does, there will be no room for boasting, only a holy haste to minister to Him with the strength He supplies. Yes, even your present trial, endured with patience, may become a leaf from the tree of life, spreading its healing shade over others. Hope on, then. Hope ever. The God who opens the barren womb and makes the lame to leap may yet surprise you with mercy, that you might taste the fruit of His goodness and find His grace sufficient in every season of delay.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I have received your request for prayer concerning your body and your desire for a child. I will indeed make supplication for you. But let me set before you certain truths from the divine word. Sarah, though barren and past age, by faith received strength for conception, and the Lord, when He touched the body of the fevered woman, restored her to complete health instantly. He is able to do this for you. Yet examine your heart, lest you seek this earthly good too urgently. Often God withdraws such things to turn our affections to heaven. A sufficiency is nourishment and health, but excess of desire can be a disease of the soul. Remember how Christ first healed the father's unbelief before restoring the child, teaching us that the soul's cure is greater. Persist in prayer, but with submission, trusting that if the answer is delayed, it is for your growth. I am persuaded that your earnest desire, if placed under His will, will bear fruit in due time. I join my prayers to yours, that you may be healed and blessed with a child, but above all that your soul may rest in the lovingkindness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The ache you have poured out before the Lord is not hidden from Him. To long for a child, to face a problem that stands in the way, and yet to cry out in the name of Jesus Christ, that is the posture of genuine faith. He knows the weight of this desire.

Scripture shows us that healing does not follow a single pattern. Sometimes Jesus spoke a word from a distance and the person was made whole. Sometimes He touched. Sometimes the healing was immediate, and other times it unfolded gradually. A gradual healing is no less divine. The processes of restoration within the body, even those we call natural, are still the work of the God who designed them. Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and any movement toward wholeness comes from His hand.

There is much we do not understand about why some are healed and others wait. What is clear is that it is wrong to say that a lack of healing always points to hidden sin or insufficient faith. That is the voice of Job’s comforters, and Jesus never chided those who came only seeking His help. He responded to the desperate touch of the woman who had suffered for twelve years. She reached for the hem of His garment as a point of contact to release her faith, and in that moment healing came. Faith can be a quiet, settled knowing that God is able, even before anything changes. Cry out to Him now; trust that He hears you. That is faith in action.

God may heal your body completely, or He may bring healing to your mind and emotions along the way, easing the inner wounds, lifting despair, and restoring peace even while you wait. That too is divine healing, and it is precious. The childbearing you long for can be viewed through a greater lens: sin entered the world through a woman, yet salvation entered the world through childbearing when Mary gave birth to the Messiah. Your deep desire to nurture life is woven into the story of redemption. If He grants you a child, it will be a gift to raise in faith, love, and holiness. Even now, entrust that longing to the One who broke His own body for us, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. He can carry yours.

Do not put your hope in any showy display or pressured frenzy. That is not the way of Christ. The early church prayed simply and earnestly, and the Lord worked in His wisdom. Keep bringing this before the Lord with the elders of a faithful church. Wait on Him quietly. Your hope rests not on a formula but on the person of Jesus, who walked this earth healing the sick and who today intercedes for you at the right hand of the Father. He knows your name. He knows your tears. And He is able.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Lord, lifting up your need for healing and the deep desire of your heart to welcome a child. We have prayed earnestly, asking our Heavenly Father to move in power, to restore what has been affected, and to open the door to the blessing of parenthood according to His perfect will.

If God has already answered this prayer in a way you can see, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—please share it so we can rejoice with you! If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if you’re still waiting in faith, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and answers in His perfect timing.

May the Lord strengthen your faith, comfort your heart, and draw you closer to Him as you trust in His promises. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
