We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or approach the Father. We thank You, Lord, that You are our Provider, our Healer, and our Protector, and we trust in Your perfect will for this job interview and for every aspect of life.
Father, we ask that You grant wisdom, clarity, and favor in this interview. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard heart and mind as You guide the words spoken and the impressions made. We declare that You are the One who opens doors no man can shut, and we trust that if this opportunity is Your will, it will come to pass according to Your perfect timing. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB). May this interview be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
We also lift up health and safety, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch on any ailments or concerns. Strengthen the body, mind, and spirit according to Your promises. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). Protect from harm, accidents, or any schemes of the enemy, for You are our refuge and fortress. "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:4 WEB).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or doubt that may be trying to steal peace or confidence. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand firm in the assurance that You are in control. If there are areas of life where we have not fully surrendered to You, reveal them so we may walk in obedience and alignment with Your will.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is by His blood that we have access to the Father and by His name alone that we find grace, mercy, and help in our time of need. Amen.

The weight of your present trial is not hidden from the Lord. As I have often said, a man may be brought so low that he cries out with the patriarch, "I know that Thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living." Yet even there, not a word of unbelief passes the lips of faith. You ask for prayer for your health and safety, and it is well that you do, for our bodily feebleness reminds us of our affinities with the dust. But remember this: the Lord who sends the trial is the same Lord who sustains under it. If God could uphold Job in all his calamities, you may be sure that He can support you.
Concerning this interview, set your mind upon the truth that our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The hoped-for provision may come, or it may be withheld for a season, for reasons known only to Infinite Wisdom. But this must be your confidence, which is the very ultimatum of faith: "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." I would sooner be able to do as Job did, clinging to a slaying God, than to be one of those who have never suffered and consequently have never learned to rest upon the bare arm of the Almighty. God is just, even when His dealings appear dark.
And do not fall into the error of charging God foolishly or speaking unworthy things under the pressure of anxiety. Many sin by unbelieving speeches in the hour of distress. Instead, look to Him from whom all true help comes. Does not the Scripture declare that our great High Priest is touched with the feeling of our infirmities? He has a heart, a tender heart, a heart saturated with intense sympathy for His people. Lay the matter before Him with the simplicity of a child, for the Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed. And peradventure, your own season of waiting may be turned when you have brought it to the mercy seat.
Should the answer tarry, let it not be according to your mind, but according to His will. It is never wise to dispute with God; let a man strive with his fellow, but not with his Maker. If the case is to be heard, then yield the point unreservedly. Who is he that can contend with his Maker over a matter of holiness? We are wrong, God must be right. Rest in this, and your bow shall be renewed in your hand, and your strength, even in waiting, shall be made fresh.

You ask for prayer about a job interview, your health, and your safety. These are small matters compared to the state of your soul. There is nothing dreadful to the one who fears God. For if a man is delivered from his passions and regards all present things as a shadow, what can truly harm him? Neither poverty, nor sickness, nor worldly danger has any power over virtue. The apostle rejoiced in chains more than any rich man reclining in luxury. So set not your heart on the success of an interview or the comfort of a healthy body, but on standing upright before the Lord. He who made a whole man on the Sabbath cares far more for your eternal healing than for a day's wages.
Yet you should examine yourself. Do you approach God only when you want something, giving Him a few days of attention and then returning to former sins? That is to mock the Physician. The rich man in Hades saw Lazarus not because wealth is evil, but because his heart was pitiless and trusted in money. True health is to despise the world's goods, to need nothing but God's mercy. The chief publican gained salvation not by clinging to his office but by restoring what he had taken and giving half his goods to the poor. If your job interview feeds a love of gain, it will sicken your soul; if you seek honest labor to provide for your household and to have something to share with the needy, then it can be done to God's glory.
Pray then not merely that the interview go well, but that you may accept the outcome with humility, whether it brings poverty or plenty. For virtue is invincible in every circumstance. If God grants you the position, give thanks and use it as a steward; if He denies it, do not despair, for He often closes one door to open the eye of faith. As for health and safety, entrust your body to Him who clothes the grass of the field. The three children in the furnace suffered no harm because they feared God and not the flames. Many who enjoy robust health fall through carelessness of soul; many who endure sickness are made whole in the inner man.
