Beloved of All
Pray for ### going to school and having ugly cough he did stay absent for two days but today he have to go back to school

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for as he returns to school with this persistent cough. Father God, we ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over him. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over, bring relief to his throat, clear his lungs, and restore his strength.

We also pray for protection over him in the classroom. Guard him from further illness and surround him with Your peace as he focuses on his studies. Remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always, as You promise in Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Lord, give him the energy and perseverance to complete his day, and may his teachers and classmates show him kindness. If this cough is a sign of something deeper, we ask for wisdom for his parents and doctors to address it properly. In all things, may Your will be done, and may feel Your presence comforting him.

We lift this up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. Amen.

We’re joining you in lifting up this little guy today. It’s never easy to send a child back to school when that cough still sounds rough, even after a couple of days of rest. We appreciate that you gave him those days to recover, that was wise and loving. Now, as he steps back into the classroom, it’s natural to feel a tug of worry.

We’ve been there, and we know that a persistent cough can linger even after the worst of a cold has passed. While we trust God for his healing, we also want to be sensible. If the cough isn’t improving or seems to be getting deeper, a quick check with the doctor can ease your mind and make sure nothing else is going on. Either way, you’re not alone in this, you’re caring for him well.

In the meantime, we’ll pray for his body to fight off whatever remains, and for his day to go smoothly. We also pray for steady peace for you as you entrust him to God’s care, even when he’s out of your sight. May he find his energy returning and a comfortable day at school, and may you sense the Lord’s presence right there with him.

Jesus, we bring this boy to you. Quiet that cough, strengthen his body, and give him a good day. Calm the heart of the one who loves him and prays for him. Surround him with your protection and let him be restored fully. In your name we ask, Amen.

The Great Physician has not lost His power to heal, and He takes a tender interest in the little ones. We will entreat the Lord on behalf of this dear child, that the ugly cough may depart and that strength be given for the day at school. There is an abundance of healing virtue in Christ Jesus, even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The smallest touch of His grace can bring relief, for He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases.

Remember how the Son of Man said to the sick of the palsy, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” and then gave command to rise and walk. He can just as easily speak peace to a little one’s frame and quiet the troubling complaint. Cast this care upon Him who cares for you, and as the child returns to the classroom, commit him into the Lord’s keeping with the prayer, “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed.” The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the inhabitant of Zion need not say, “I am sick,” for pardon and wholeness come from the same pierced hand. Let faith look up through the cough and the weakness, and trust that soon the Lord will turn this sighing into singing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Think not on the cough only as you see it with your eyes, for you are called to judge not according to appearance. The body declares its weakness, yet the Lord who touched the fevered woman gave back perfect health in an instant, with no lingering frailty. Let your prayer be for a healing so complete that the sickness is not merely quenched but utterly removed, and that the child’s strength returns as if no illness had ever been.

Your diligence in sending him back to school is a right thing, for we send those we love with more speed when we desire them to be freed from heaviness and to return to their place. But send him accompanied not only by your care but by your continual prayers, for the talents given to each person, whether in protection or in fervent supplication, are to be used for our neighbor’s advantage. Let the very halls of his learning become for him a place where, by disposition, he stands in heaven, guarded by the mercy of Christ.

Do not look at the present distress as if it were a thorn yielding no fruit. Even this trial, like wealth, can be turned to good if it nourishes not passion but patience and trust in God. The Lord sees the whole man, not just the partial affliction, and He is able to raise up one who is wholly undone. Therefore do not lose heart. Lift up your soul with willingness, and remember that the flame of anxiety can be extinguished by considering the greater health that endures to eternal life. The help of God is not delayed for those who call upon Him with faith.

I am praying for your child as he heads back to school today. That kind of persistent, ugly cough can weigh so heavily on a parent’s heart. You’ve already kept him home for two days, and now you’re having to send him out while he’s still not fully well, I know that’s a hard thing.

When I read your request, I thought of how Jesus once set a little child right in the middle of His disciples, took the child into His arms, and held him close. That is the heart of our Lord toward your son. He is not distant or indifferent. He knows what it is to care for the frail and the young, and I trust He is with him in that classroom even now.

Healing doesn’t always come in a single instant. The Gospels record a time when Jesus brought a man’s sight back in stages, gradually, step by step. I don’t understand why some are healed at once and others only over time, but I do know that any true healing, whether slow or sudden, is a gift from God. So we can ask Him to work in this boy’s body even through the ordinary processes: to soothe his throat, calm the coughing fits, and give his immune system the strength it needs.

I think of a mother in the Scriptures who was desperate for her sick child. She held on to the prophet and would not let go, insisting that he come himself. And when he prayed and stretched himself out over that lifeless little body, warmth returned. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. That mother’s persistence in prayer was not misplaced. Keep bringing this need before the Father. He hears you.

I’m reminded, too, of Moses’ mother, who had to place her infant in a basket on the river under the most perilous conditions. God took that adverse situation and not only spared the baby but arranged for her to nurse him and be paid for it. He is still the God who works in difficult circumstances. A lingering cough and the demands of school may feel small in the grand scheme, but they matter to Him. He sees the worry in your heart.

So as your child goes back, let’s ask the Lord to put a hedge of protection around him. Pray for a restful night’s sleep after his day, and for the healing to continue quietly even while he sits in class. You are not alone in this. I will keep lifting him up, and I trust that the same hands that once held the children who came to Jesus are holding your son now.
