But we are not to live as those who have no hope. For the child of God, death is simply moving out of a worn-out tent and stepping into a new house, a building from God, not made with human hands, eternal in the heavens. That is where true comfort and rest are found. Not in the absence of sorrow now, but in the solid hope of what is to come.

When the storm rages for fourteen days and you see no sun, His presence is the encouragement that will sustain you. He stands by you to strengthen you, to speak words of life into your spirit. He will cover you, not as a distant fortress, but with the tender protection of a mother hen gathering her chicks under her wings.
