If you are resting upon the blood of the Lamb, He will surely bring you in, and you shall stand in your lot at the end of the days.

Remember that Christ "entered once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption" by His own blood. There is no other sacrifice needed; His single offering has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Your hope rests not on your ancestry or your own merit, but on that precious blood.
Yet when you ask for comfort, know that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction. Your present troubles, whatever they be, are the very means by which He draws you nearer. He does not promise a life free from sorrow, but He does promise that as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. Therefore, do not lose heart. If the earthly house of this tabernacle is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. The eternal habitations you long for are already prepared.
And what is the path to that life? The Lord Himself said, "Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you." Unless we truly partake of Him by faith, we have no eternal life. Cling to the Holy Mysteries, to the Body and Blood given for you, and you possess eternal life even now, as a foretaste.
Call upon God as your Father, for this single title brings forgiveness of sins, righteousness, adoption, and the inheritance. But He is "in heaven," so lift your mind from earthly cares. He has loved you and given you everlasting comfort and good hope through grace. Be stablished in every good work and word. The poor are your intercessors; by mercy to them you store up comfort for yourself. Lazarus suffered poverty, but now he rests in the bosom of Abraham, while the rich man found no comfort. So do not fear the afflictions of this life; they are but for a moment. The eternal purpose of God, which He purposed in Christ Jesus before the ages, will not fail. Your mother, your family, you yourself, if you are in Christ, you are sealed with that purpose. Only persevere. The Lord is your Shepherd; He will guide you to the eternal habitations.
