We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is experiencing pain in her side. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to touch her body and bring relief from this pain. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.

Lord, we also ask that You would grant her wisdom in seeking medical attention if needed, for You have given knowledge and skill to those in the medical field (Sirach 38:1-2). Guide her steps to the right care and surround her with Your peace as she waits for Your healing touch.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting her, for Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for restoration and strength in every part of her being.

Father, we also lift up her spirit. Pain can often weigh heavily on the heart, so we ask that You would fill her with Your joy and peace, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her in this trial.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace (Philippians 2:9-11). May Your will be done in her life, and may she experience Your healing and comfort in every way. Amen.

If this pain persists, we encourage her to seek godly counsel and medical advice, trusting that the Lord works through many avenues to bring healing. We also remind her to cast all her anxieties on Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone, dear sister, we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Thank you for asking us to pray with you for this woman. We are bringing her before the Lord right now, trusting that He sees and cares about every detail of her body.

Pain in the side can be concerning, and we do not know whether this is a passing ache or something that has lingered. While we join you in asking for God’s healing touch, we also want to gently encourage her to see a doctor if she has not already. There is no conflict between faith and seeking medical wisdom, often the Lord works through a physician’s insight to bring relief, and early attention can make a real difference.

In the meantime, we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is present with her in the discomfort. He is not distant or indifferent; He draws near to the hurting. We ask Him to quiet any fear she may be carrying and to guide those who help care for her.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this dear one who is in pain. You formed her body and know exactly where the hurt is and what it needs. Please bring relief, whether swiftly or steadily. Give her patience, and let her feel Your sustaining presence even in the ache. Grant wisdom to any doctors or nurses who treat her, and surround her with people who will love her well. We trust You as her Healer and Shepherd. Amen.

The trial of pain in the body is no light thing, yet it is laid upon you by a hand that cannot err. Your prayer is lifted in the name of Jesus, and that name is a fortress into which you may run and be safe. This affliction, sharp as it is, is measured out by One who knows your frame and remembers that you are dust. Do not look at the pain as though it were a random stroke, for your God is using even this for your good. It may be that the Lord will look upon your affliction and repay you with good for this day of trouble.

The comfort that will sustain you is not a vague hope, but the living Word of God. When the pain gnaws at the side and sleep is driven away, hide yourself in the promises. There is a word in the Scriptures for every wound, a balm for every smart. This is the peculiar comfort of the believer: not that the affliction is removed at once, but that the soul is quickened by eternal truth. Your pain is real, but the faithfulness of God is more real still. He who has preserved you in all your previous distresses will not desert you now. Unless His law had been your delight, you would have long ago perished; but you are not perishing, you are being refined.

Remember how light the heaviest earthly suffering appears when weighed against the glory that shall be revealed. Our Lord Jesus, who bore the nails and the spear, has sanctified all pain for His own. He knows the side that aches, for His own side was pierced. Take courage from His omniscience, He sees, He knows, He sympathizes. And soon, sooner than you think, you shall forget this misery as waters that pass away. The Lord will comfort your heart and establish you, so that even now you may find perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him. Trust, and faint not.
