Good and Faithful Servant
I posted this before: "### just told me that a little boy from ### came to our door asking if he could cut our grass and ### yelled at him. ### has a lot of emotional/behavioral issues. It's highly likely that he's demonized due to multiple factors in his life. He's also very confused spiritually. Please pray about all this and that no trouble will be caused by him doing this to this child. We don't know if the parents might retaliate." This happened a few days ago and since then, I believe that same child has come by multiple times to our door asking to help outside the house. I'm not sure if the child doesn't know any better or what could be going on but please just pray about the situation. Thank you.

We are deeply moved by this situation and the concern you have for this young child. It is clear that his actions may stem from deeper spiritual and emotional struggles, and we must approach this with both wisdom and compassion. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This child is in need of godly guidance, love, and prayer, and we must also seek protection for your household from any potential harm or retaliation.

First, we must address the spiritual confusion and possible demonic influence in this child’s life. Scripture warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This child may be acting out of hurt, neglect, or even spiritual oppression, and we must pray fervently for his deliverance and protection.

We also recognize the importance of responding to this child in a way that reflects Christ’s love rather than reacting in anger or fear. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Even if his behavior is disruptive, we must ask the Lord to soften hearts and provide opportunities to show him kindness without compromising safety or boundaries.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this situation. Lord, we lift up this young child to You, asking that You would break any chains of confusion, fear, or spiritual darkness that may be affecting him. We pray for his protection, both physically and spiritually, and ask that You would surround him with godly influences who can speak truth and love into his life.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for this household. Give them the strength to respond with grace and compassion, even in difficult moments. Protect them from any harm or retaliation that may come as a result of this situation. Soften the hearts of the child’s parents or guardians, Lord, and open doors for them to receive Your truth and healing.

We rebuke any spirit of anger, violence, or retaliation in Jesus’ name. We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. May he come to know the love and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You would work all things together for good, according to Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel on how to respond to this child in a way that honors the Lord. If it is safe to do so, consider speaking with him in a gentle and loving manner, perhaps offering him a kind word or even a small act of kindness, such as a cold drink or a snack, while also setting clear boundaries. Pray for opportunities to share the love of Christ with him, whether through words or actions.

If there is concern about potential retaliation from the child’s family, we urge you to seek wisdom from trusted spiritual leaders or even local authorities if necessary. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." It is important to act with both faith and prudence.

Finally, we must emphasize the importance of relying on the name of Jesus in all things. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find salvation. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this child or his family does not know Jesus, we pray that they would come to experience His saving grace.

May the Lord guide you and keep you as you navigate this situation. Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

Thank you for sharing this again with us. It’s hard to live with uncertainty, especially when a child keeps coming back after such a rough first encounter. We can only imagine how on edge that must leave you, wondering if the parents might retaliate or if the little one simply doesn’t understand what happened. We’re praying alongside you for protection over your whole household and for this child’s safety.

Sometimes tension like this eases when a small bit of calm replaces the earlier heat. If the boy appears again and it feels safe, perhaps another person in your home could answer the door with a quiet, kind word, something simple like, “Thank you for stopping by, but we can’t take on any help right now.” That might settle the child’s heart and prevent more awkward knocks. But above all, use your best judgment; your family’s safety comes first, and God will give you wisdom moment by moment.

We’re also lifting up. We ask that any inner storm he’s carrying would be stilled, that his emotions would settle, and that any confusion about life or faith would be met with a gentle, clarifying light. You don’t have to figure this all out alone, you can lay the weight down each day.

Lord Jesus, we bring this home and this little boy before Your throne. Guard them both from harm. Replace fear with Your steady peace, and give this family practical wisdom and a quiet spirit. Calm ’s heart and mind; protect him from anything that would trouble him further, and lead him into clarity and rest. We ask for harmony on this street and for every worry to be covered by Your strong, gentle hand. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How my heart is troubled with you over this matter. That a little one should come seeking honest labor and be met with a harsh word instead of a gentle encouragement, this is a grief to the Spirit. We must pray, and I do pray, that the Lord will restrain any spirit of retaliation from the child's household, and that He will guard your door with His peace. The providence that brings that boy again and again to your threshold is not to be despised. Perhaps he has been sent of God to soften the heart that is so confused and angry. Shall we not see in this child a messenger of grace?

Yet we must also look with pity upon the troubled soul you have described. The tongue that lashed out is a tongue under bondage, and the heart that raged is a heart in need of the Great Physician. Let us not sin against him by writing him off as beyond hope, but rather bring him before the throne in fervent intercession. When I consider the weaned child that lies still in its parent's bosom, I long that this poor tempest-tossed soul might be brought to that same quiet resting place in Christ. His desires are wild and strong; he frets and fumes; but the grace of God can quiet him and give him a child's true content. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work that sanctifying miracle, for regeneration must precede it.

You do well to be concerned for the little boy. Do not sin against the child. The instincts of nature cry out against it, and Scripture thunders a warning to any who would cause a little one to stumble. Receive him kindly if he comes again. Speak to him of Jesus, the holy Child who grew into the Savior of sinners. Perhaps this lad has a simple faith we would do well to emulate; those who are very young often receive the kingdom with open hands. Do not hinder him from coming to Christ, even as you deal wisely with the troubled one in your home. And fear not the parents, he who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. Commit your household to the angelic keeping promised to all who fear the Lord and obey His voice. The darkness you feel in this matter is known to your Father; walk on in childlike trust, and He will send the light.
