We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these unspoken burdens and the needs of this family. First, we thank God for the mention of Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand on the truth that Jesus is our Great Physician, our Healer, and our Peace, and we trust in His power to move in every situation presented here.
Father God, we lift up this spouse who is in need of healing. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We ask, Lord, that You would touch this beloved one with Your healing hand. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual healing that is needed, we pray that You would restore them fully, according to Your will. We also pray for a long life, blessed by You, so that they may walk in the purpose and plans You have for them. May their days be filled with Your presence, strength, and joy, and may they be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we also bring before You the desire for this marriage to thrive. We pray that You would knit this couple together in unity, love, and purpose. Your Word tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:12, *"A threefold cord is not quickly broken."* We ask that You would be the center of this marriage, binding them together with cords of love that cannot be severed. Strengthen their commitment to one another and to You, Lord. May they grow in their walk with You individually and as a couple, honoring You in all they do. We rebuke any division, strife, or temptation that seeks to drive a wedge between them. Instead, let Your peace reign in their home, and let Your love overflow in their lives.
Father, we also pray for protection over this family. Psalm 91:11 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We ask that You would surround them with Your heavenly host, shielding them from harm, evil, and any schemes of the enemy. Protect their minds from fear, their hearts from anxiety, and their bodies from sickness. We pray for Your peace to fill their home, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust.
Lord, we also lift up the unspoken requests placed before You. You tell us in Matthew 6:8 that You know what we need before we ask. We trust that You are already at work in these situations, even when we cannot see it. Give wisdom, discernment, and patience to this family as they wait on You. Remind them that Your timing is perfect, and Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Healer, and Redeemer. May Your will be done in every area of their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You more each day. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with them for breakthrough, healing, and restoration. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
