We have been continuing to lift you up concerning the anger you shared about dealing with fake people, backhanded compliments, being underestimated, disrespect disguised as a joke and getting lied to when you already know the truth. We understand how painful and frustrating it can be to feel disrespected, dismissed and deceived, and we have been praying that the Lord would guard your heart from bitterness and fill you with His peace.
We pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment in your relationships, strength to respond with grace and truth, and comfort in knowing that He sees all things and knows the truth even when others are not honest. We pray that He will help you not to let anger take root, but to walk in His love and patience. His Word reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry in James 1:19 and also instructs us in Eph 4:26 not to let the sun go down while we are still angry. We pray that He will remind you of your true value in Christ when you feel underestimated and that He will help you to set healthy boundaries and to speak the truth in love.
