We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up your son as he faces his exams today. Father God, we ask for Your peace to surround him, calming any anxiety or fear that may try to take hold. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, let this peace guard his heart and mind as he writes his exams.
We pray for clarity of thought and recall, that the knowledge he has worked so hard to gain would be readily available to him. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We ask, Lord, that You would grant him wisdom and understanding beyond his years, that he may answer each question with confidence and precision.
We also pray for strength and endurance, that he would not grow weary but remain focused and determined throughout the day. Isaiah 40:31 assures us, "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Renew his strength, Lord, and let him soar like an eagle in his endeavors today.
Lastly, we ask that You would remind him of Your constant presence and love. Let him feel Your hand upon his shoulder, guiding him and reassuring him that he is never alone. May he find comfort in knowing that You are with him, just as You promised in Joshua 1:9, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Heavenly Father, we commit this day into Your hands, trusting that You will watch over him, guide him, and bless his efforts. May Your will be done in his life, and may he grow not only in knowledge but also in his relationship with You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
