48+ hours smoke free

Hello Prayer warriors! My husband has gone 48 hours now smoke free. Today is going to be especially hard because he'll be at work all day and be around other smokers. Please continue to pray for his strength, his reliance on the Lord to get him through this and to break through the bondage. He is using step one of the patch. Thank you.

Father God, thank you for this victory in this man's life. Continue to grant him the strength to resist this addiction, especially today - may the temptation he fears be but a passing urge. I pray You would begin restoring his health, so as he feels better and notices the results, he will gain more strength to stand. I praise You for leading his heart to a place of making changes to honor the temple You have given him. His success comes solely from You, and I thank You for helping him through. In Jesus' name I pray for continued victory. Amen.

Lord, protect Sarah's husband from the temptation to smoke. Protect him from the demon of addiction. Every time he has the urge for nicotine, I pray that he would turn that desire toward you... That he would recognize that he needs God more than he needs nicotine. Thank you for blessing him with the motivation to quit smoking, Lord. I pray this is only the beginning to a healthy lifestyle.
