We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your life and command it to loose its grip in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not powerless—you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you, and *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4 WEB). We encourage you to seek accountability, whether through a trusted brother in Christ, a biblical counselor, or a support group. Confess your struggles, as James 5:16 tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed."*
Regarding your medication and the desire to join the military, we urge wisdom and discernment. The military is a noble calling, but it is not the only way to serve God or fulfill your purpose. Your health—physical, mental, and spiritual—matters to the Lord, and He has not called you to harm yourself in pursuit of a goal.
