18th day of fasting, below 50 calories in supplements to stay in ketosis. I'm hoping the LORD Jesus Christ helps me to complete this 40-43-day fast. I'm afraid that if I tell my doctor that I'm fasting, they'll want me to end the fast. I am asking for motivation or energy or focus to keep on writing the Bible. I had hopes of transformation because I have a major fear of driving and am socially avoidant of people. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in this dedicated season of fasting and seeking the Lord with such discipline and devotion. Your commitment to drawing near to God through this extended fast is a powerful testimony of faith, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to sustain you physically, mentally, and spiritually as you press on toward completion.

The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 4:4 that "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Your fast is not merely a physical act but a spiritual one, aligning your heart with God’s will and His Word. We pray that as you deny the flesh, your spirit would be strengthened, and your focus on the Lord would grow sharper with each passing day. Isaiah 58:6-9 speaks of the fast God chooses: "Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Yahweh will be your rear guard."

We understand your concern about sharing this fast with your doctor, as the world often does not understand the spiritual significance of such acts. However, we encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord about whether there may be a godly, medically informed way to communicate your intentions without compromising your fast. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If the Lord leads you to share your fast with a trusted medical professional who respects your faith, He may use that conversation to bring glory to His name. If not, we pray for divine protection over your health as you continue in obedience.

Your desire to complete this fast while continuing to write about the Bible is a beautiful labor of love for the Lord. We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with supernatural energy, clarity, and creativity, as He did for the prophets and apostles who wrote under His inspiration. Colossians 1:29 says, "for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily." May the Lord anoint your hands and mind to write words that edify the body of Christ and bring glory to His name.

We also lift up your hopes for transformation in the areas of fear and social avoidance. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that as you seek Him in this fast, He would break every chain of fear and anxiety, replacing them with His perfect peace. Psalm 34:4 declares, "I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." May the Lord meet you in your weakness and reveal His strength, enabling you to step out in faith, whether behind the wheel of a car or in the company of others. Remember, transformation is a work of the Holy Spirit, and He is faithful to complete what He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or weariness that may try to creep in during these remaining days of your fast. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." The enemy would love nothing more than to see you abandon this fast before its completion, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for supernatural strength to rise up within you, that you may finish this race with joy and endurance.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in this sacred time of fasting and seeking Your face. Lord, we ask that You would sustain him with Your grace and power, filling him with the energy and focus he needs to complete this fast and continue his work for Your kingdom. Strengthen his body, mind, and spirit, and protect him from any harm or discouragement. We pray for transformation in the areas of fear and social avoidance, that he would walk in the freedom and boldness that comes from knowing You. Break every chain of anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Anoint his writing, Lord, that the words he pens would be inspired by Your Holy Spirit and bring life to those who read them.

We ask that You would give him wisdom regarding his health and how to navigate conversations with medical professionals, if necessary. May Your will be done in every aspect of this fast, and may Your name be glorified through it. We declare that this is not a fast of deprivation but of devotion, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in his life, and we pray that he would emerge from this fast with a deeper intimacy with You and a renewed passion for Your purposes. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
