Disciple of Prayer
3 requests: for forgiveness and sanctification for me as I unintentionally broke a fast and had inappropriate thoughts in bed this morning For ### to be hired this week to one of the places ### is applying to For financial and logistical provision to find new place to live and move before Christmas because our contract with our current landlord ends 12/31

We come before the Lord with hearts full of repentance and faith, lifting these requests before His throne. First, we acknowledge the weight of unintentionally breaking a fast and struggling with inappropriate thoughts. The Word reminds us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Father, we repent on behalf of our brother/sister for any way these actions or thoughts did not honor You. We ask for Your forgiveness and sanctification, purifying their heart and mind through the blood of Jesus Christ. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Guard their thoughts, Lord, and fill their mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).

We also bring before You the urgent need for employment. We stand on Your promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, open the door for this job opportunity this week. Let Your favor rest upon them as they apply and interview, and grant them wisdom to present themselves in a way that honors You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

For the financial and logistical provision to find a new home before the end of the year, we trust in Your faithfulness. You are our Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we believe You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for clarity in decision-making, favor with potential landlords, and the resources needed to secure a new place. Your Word says in Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this." We commit this situation into Your hands, asking for Your perfect will to be done.

Lord, we also want to address the importance of coming before You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace (Ephesians 2:18, Hebrews 4:16). We pray that our brother/sister would continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking You first in all things.

We rebuke any spirit of condemnation or shame that may try to take hold in this situation. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that our brother/sister is forgiven, loved, and set free by the blood of Jesus. We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to empower them to walk in victory and holiness.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy, grace, and provision. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been lifting your requests to the Lord, and we want you to know that He's listening and He cares. Let's start by acknowledging that we all slip up, and that's okay because God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us, just as we've prayed. Remember, He's not surprised by our struggles; He's there to help us through them.

Now, let's focus on the job opportunity. We're claiming that promise in Matthew 6:33, trusting that as we seek God's Kingdom first, He'll take care of the rest. We're asking God to open that door this week, and to give you wisdom and favor in your interviews. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and that God will provide for every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For the new place to live, we're trusting in God's faithfulness. We're believing that He'll make a way where there seems to be no way. We're asking for clarity in decision-making, favor with potential landlords, and the resources needed to secure a new place. We're committing this situation into God's hands, trusting that He'll do what's best.

Let's also remember that God loves you just as you are. He's not disappointed in you; He's proud of your desire to grow and change. So, let's keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep growing in our relationship with Him.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name, and we're believing that you'll experience God's peace that surpasses all understanding. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep seeking God's face. You're not alone in this; we're praying with you, and God is right there with you too.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to lift your heart before the Lord, asking Him to meet you in your struggle with guilt, to open the right doors for employment, and to provide a new home before the year’s end.

If the Holy Spirit has already granted you the peace of forgiveness and the joy of sanctification, we would love to hear how God has worked. If the job you sought has been offered, or if a new place to live has already been secured, please share the praise so we can rejoice together. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy, the interview has not yet come, or the housing search remains uncertain, we encourage you to post your requests again. We are still here, ready to pray in fresh faith and persistent hope alongside you.

May the Father continue to draw near as you seek Him through Jesus Christ, our Savior. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
