2nd health scare this year

larry rife had his second health scare this year. earlier in the year it was a blood clot.
now he thought it was a heart attack, it wasnt but his blood pressure got to dangerous levels. he was rushed from one hospital to another.
he may potentially need to get a stint in his heart, we pray he doesnt.
pray for his sister ### and brother in law ### who are taking care of him.

We join with you in lifting up ### before the Lord after this second health scare this year. We are so thankful that what was feared to be a heart attack was not, though we understand how frightening it must have been for his blood pressure to reach such dangerous levels and for him to be rushed from one hospital to another. We also remember his earlier trial with a blood clot, and we know how wearying it can be to face one health crisis after another.

We take comfort in knowing that our God is our healer and our refuge in times of trouble. Scripture reminds us, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to His promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We also lift up his sister and brother-in-law who are caring for him. Caregiving is a labor of love that can be both physically and emotionally draining, and we pray the Lord will sustain them with strength, peace, and rest. We are reminded, Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2. And He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you how precious it is that we have access to the Father only through Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is in Jesus name that we can boldly bring ### before the throne of grace, trusting not only for physical healing but for the gift of eternal life for all who believe on Him. If anyone confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. Romans 10:9.

So together we pray.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know his body, You formed him and You number his days. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, to stabilize his blood pressure, to protect his heart and his vessels from further harm, and to bring complete healing from the effects of the blood clot and this recent crisis. Guide the hands and minds of the physicians who are caring for him, give them wisdom and discernment regarding whether a stent is truly needed, and we ask if it be Your will that You would restore him without the need for further intervention. Grant him peace that surpasses understanding and remove fear and anxiety from his heart and from his family.

We pray as well for his sister and brother-in-law, Lord. Strengthen them, refresh them, and surround them with Your peace and encouragement as they care for him. Provide for their needs, guard their own health, and let them feel Your presence carrying them through each day.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, trusting in Your goodness and Your perfect will. We pray, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer for ###'s complete restoration, for wisdom for his medical team, and for strength and comfort for his family. May the Lord draw ### and his loved ones even closer to Himself through this trial and grant them hope and assurance in Christ.

We were so sorry to hear ### has faced a second health scare this year. After a blood clot earlier, to have such a frightening episode with his blood pressure rising to dangerous levels and being rushed from one hospital to another would leave anyone shaken, and waiting to learn whether he will need a stent adds more uncertainty. We are holding him and you in prayer.

We are also thankful for his sister and brother in law who are caring for him. That kind of help is a gift, and it can also be exhausting when there are transfers, updates and decisions coming quickly.

If you are close to them, one practical way to come alongside is to help lighten the logistics so they can rest a bit. Offering to keep a simple shared note with current medications, recent readings and questions for the cardiology team can keep information clear between hospitals, and arranging meals, rides or a short break for the caregivers can make the next days more sustainable. Encourage them to keep following the doctors closely and to ask for clear next steps before discharge.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your mercy and healing. Give his doctors wisdom, steady his blood pressure and his heart, and guide every decision about further treatment. Comfort and strengthen his sister and brother in law with rest and peace, and draw ### and his family close to You in this anxious time. In Jesus name, amen.

We join you in bringing ### before the throne of grace, and we have borne his case and that of his family to the Lord in prayer.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek the physician for healing. How much more should we seek the Great Physician, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. That word which was true three thousand years ago is true now, He healeth the broken in heart, and what earthly pharmacy cannot provide, His hand can supply.

We have prayed that the Lord would lay His gracious hand upon ### in this second trial of the year. After the blood clot earlier, and now this dangerous rise of blood pressure which required his being rushed from one hospital to another, we ask the Lord to grant mercy, to steady his heart and to calm his blood, to give wisdom to those who have charge of him, and to direct every counsel concerning whether a stent be needed. We pray that if it be His will, the need for such a procedure may be spared, but above all that the Lord's will be done, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

We have also prayed for his sister and his brother in law who are caring for him. To wait upon the sick and to watch through such alarms is a weariness which only the Lord can sustain. We ask that they may prove the promise that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To him the joy of the Lord is his strength, and the Lord Jehovah is his song. May He increase strength to them that have no might, and give them perfect peace, even with sorrows surging round, for perfect peace is found in staying the mind upon Him and in trusting Him fully through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within.

May the Lord give you all increased faith in this trying hour, that you may feel your weakness and yet importunately pray for His aid, and then in the strength which you have gained by prayer attain to quiet waiting for His will. Conscious strength in Christ removes us from the temptations which surround petty feebleness, and faith gives perfect rest to the soul, for behind all there is a blessing which will compensate for present trials.

We will continue to remember ### and those who tend him, asking that the Lord would restore him, comfort his loved ones, and make this affliction to work for their good and for His glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation and peace.

We lift up ### before the Lord with you in this time of trial, and we thank you for sharing this burden so that we can bear it together in prayer.

We pray for ### after this second health scare. The Lord knows the fear that comes when the body is shaken, first with a blood clot and now with blood pressure rising to dangerous levels and a rushing from one hospital to another. We ask our merciful Father to lay His healing hand upon him, to steady his heart and his blood pressure, to grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses who care for him, and to guide every decision about whether a stent is needed. We pray that Christ, who said His yoke is easy and His burden is light, would give ### rest for his soul even in the midst of physical distress, and bring him renewed strength and health according to His will.

We also pray for his sister and his brother in law who are caring for him. May the Lord sustain them with patience, strength, and peace as they serve him in love. May He guard them from weariness and fill them with comfort, knowing that their labor of love is seen by Him.

We ask that through this trial ### and all who love him would be drawn closer to Christ, trusting not in our own strength but in the great Physician who never ceases to apply His healing treatment, even to the last breath, and who is able to restore and renew. May the Lord grant ### protection from further harm, a calm heart, and a full recovery, and may He be glorified in all things.
