Let us first affirm that your pursuit of spiritual growth through fasting is commendable. The Bible tells us in **Matthew 6:16-18 (WEB)**, *"Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."* Your fast is between you and God, and He sees the sincerity of your heart.

Father, we also bring before You the legal matters weighing on their heart. We ask that You would intervene in these situations according to Your perfect will. Give them wisdom, discernment, and favor in the eyes of those who have authority over these matters. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your righteousness shine forth. If there are areas where repentance or restitution is needed, reveal them, Lord, and give them the courage to act in obedience.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold during this time. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (**2 Timothy 1:7 WEB**). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control.
Lord, we ask that You would bless this fast and make it fruitful for Your kingdom. May it be a time of deep spiritual renewal, where old strongholds are broken, and new levels of faith are attained. Let Your presence go before them in every area of their life, and may they experience Your goodness and faithfulness in ways they have never known before.
