Bless pastors first to war against prayerlessness in our own lives and give faith to pray, seek with all our heart to hear, listen and understand, Matt 16:17, what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. We join you in this deep burden for the Church, for its leaders, and for all who hear the Word within its walls, and we count it a privilege to lift these requests together before our Father in Jesus' name.

We hear your heart crying out for faithful shepherds according to 2 Tim 4:1-5, that they would preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. We agree that the need is great for pastors and preachers who will give themselves to prayer and to study, to intercession for the congregation, to visiting families and to a lifestyle that adorns sound doctrine. As it is written in 1 Tim 4:16, Pay attention to yourself, and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. And in 2 Tim 2:15, Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesnโ€™t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. We pray that every leader would take this charge seriously, warring first against prayerlessness in his own life and seeking God daily with all his heart to hear and understand what the Spirit is saying.

We also join you in praying for the salvation of lost pastors and for those in the church who are lost, backslidden, lukewarm, or devoted, that none would be deceived by lack of knowledge. For it is written in Hos 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, and in John 4:24, God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. We ask for Holy Spirit empowered worship everywhere and especially in the assembled church, not in form only but in truth, with anointing from the Anointed One who teaches us all things as promised in John 14:26, But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

We pray for the families drawn by the Father himself, for Jesus said in John 6:44, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and for the saints not to forsake assembling as in Heb 10:25, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching. We ask that as the Word is preached with accuracy, hearers would receive it in humility and faith by revelation of Messiah from our Father in heaven, as in Matt 16:17, Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven, and that with meekness they would receive the implanted word which is able to save their souls as in Jam 1:21. May faith come by hearing, for Rom 10:17 says So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and may the Spirit open minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45.

We bring before the Lord your petitions for safety across the globe, claiming Ps 91:11-12, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you wonโ€™t dash your foot against a stone, and for warnings and protection as when Elisha warned Israel in 2 Kings 6:8-12. We ask that the Lord would keep His people from distraction, deception, temptation and the evil one, for Jesus prayed in John 17:15, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, and we stand on 2 Thes 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

We thank God that He is our ever present help as in Ps 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and that He wills that none should perish as in 2 Pet 3:9, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and in 1 Tim 2:4, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. We rejoice that the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost as in Luke 19:10.

So together we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son who was crucified for our sins, draw our family members and all who have ears to hear whenever the doors are open. Grant Your manifest holy presence, give hunger for Your Word as in 1 Pet 2:2, and pour out the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him as in Eph 1:17. Let the Holy Spirit convict and convert as in John 16:8, guide into all truth as in John 16:13, and give vision where there is none as in Prov 29:18, Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint. Protect Your flock from false teachers who have a form of godliness but deny its power as in 2 Tim 3:5, from deceivers, from sin and lies and fear, and from the love of the world that chokes devotion. Give pastors and all believers grace to seek You with all their heart, to pray and receive according to Mark 11:24, and to not be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You, that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts as in Phil 4:6-7. We ask this with confidence, for 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, and we know You hear us. Keep us faithful to eat the bread and drink the cup in remembrance, to continue steadfastly in the apostles teaching and fellowship as in Acts 2:42. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved as in Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to You. Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for pastors, churches and families. You carry a deep love for the church to know Christ truly and to worship in honesty and power, and for households to be drawn in faith. That kind of burden is itself a gift from the Lord.

We take comfort that spiritual growth, for pastors and for all of us, is not instant. It happens gradually over a lifetime, with ups and downs, through steady time in the Word, in prayer, and in worship together. Worship especially has a quiet way of caring for people as we simply give attention to God, and over time it helps heal and strengthen in a way counseling alone cannot. And none of this happens apart from the Holy Spirit, who alone causes growth.

If it helps, you might choose one or two pastors or families the Lord has put on your heart and keep lifting them by name through the week, and when you have opportunity offer a simple word of encouragement for their faithfulness in study and prayer. Small, faithful steps over time matter more than trying to carry everything at once.

Father, we thank You for the heart behind this prayer and for love for pastors and families. Give rest and renewed strength to weary leaders, draw those who are distant, and keep Your church rooted in Your Word and close to You, guarded from evil. Work by Your Spirit to bring repentance, faith and true worship where it is needed most. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden for the house of God and for those who minister in it is a right and weighty one, and we do strive together with you in prayers to God for you, that you may wrestle with us in this holy work. The Lord lays upon your heart what He Himself has taught us to desire, that His face would shine upon His sanctuary.

We join you in pleading that pastors and preachers would be men of prayer and of the Word, watching their life and doctrine closely that they might save both themselves and their hearers. How needful is this prayer, for Christ Himself in His pastoral prayer pleaded not for the world but for His own, that they might be kept from the evil and preserved in unity and holiness. It is amazing how persevering the Lord is in the salvation of a sinner, and He will keep His own within the fold. Yet faith must be urged, for without it there is no salvation. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. We pray therefore for those who stand in the pulpit, that if any be lost or lukewarm or backslidden, the Lord would convict and convert them, that flesh and blood not revealing Christ but our Father in heaven would open their eyes to know the forgiveness of sins and newness of life in His Anointed crucified for us.

We pray also that the Word may be rightly divided and taught with accuracy, for all Scripture is God breathed and written for our learning, that through patience and comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope. Oh that every minister might have full space for prayer and meditation, set free to give himself to study and to intercession for the congregation, to visiting families and to sound teaching, that when the Word goes forth it might go forth with energy and force which none can resist because the Lord shines upon it. Cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary, we pray, for the Church's own sake and for the world's sake, for what hope can come to perishing sinners except through a living Church.

We bring before the Lord your family and every household, that the Father who draws men unto Christ would draw them indeed, that they may receive the Word with humility which saves the soul, whether by the preaching of the message, by the testimony of a saved friend, or by a tract placed in the hand. For faith comes by hearing the message preached, and the Holy Spirit must teach us all things and open our minds to understand the Scriptures. We ask for a true hunger for the Word as newborn babes desire milk, and for freedom to worship in spirit and in truth, with the anointing from the Holy One. Grant that none may be kept away by the love of the world or by weariness or distraction, but that they may not forsake the assembling of themselves together, as often as they gather to hear the Word and to break bread.

We plead the keeping power of our great Intercessor. What is the great protection of our faith but our Saviour's intercession, for He says, I have prayed for you. Before temptation comes He has already prayed, and if Jesus pleads He must prevail. So we ask that the Lord would keep His people from the evil one, from deception and lies, from false teachers and deceivers, from temptation and fear, and from evil men. That He would give His angels charge over His people and deliver them from those who do not believe, and that His service may be accepted among the saints. We pray for safety across the globe and for warnings as when Elisha warned Israel, that the Lord who is our ever present help would protect from every snare.

Now will you not pray this prayer for revival with importunity, Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You. Turn us, O God of our salvation. We believe He can bless even a feeble ministry when it is prayed up into a blessing. Lord, help us, for we cannot help ourselves in the matter of salvation, it is Christ's work from first to last, and divine grace must have all the praise.

We leave you with this blessing, Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Your prayers for pastors and for the church to walk in holiness, truth and faithful worship are a great encouragement and we join you in bringing them before the Lord.

We agree with you in asking God to work in the lives of church leaders, that they would be devoted to prayer, to daily study of the Word, and to rightly handling the truth as 2 Timothy 2:15 teaches. We pray that those who preach would first seek God themselves, with a life of intercession for their people, sound teaching, and personal godliness, and that God would guard them from prayerlessness, distraction and temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, and we all need God to stretch out His hand to keep us and strengthen us.

We also join you in praying for salvation, for lost pastors and for all who hear the Word, whether lost, lukewarm, backslidden or devoted. Our God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, which is faith in His Son Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have forgiveness of sins and new life. We pray as you asked that the Father would draw families and visitors by His Spirit, that He would open minds to understand the Scriptures as He did for the disciples in Luke 24, and that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, would convict, teach and lead into all truth.

You asked about worship in spirit and in truth according to John 4:24. That worship is not merely outward or bodily, but is offered by the soul with a pure mind and a clean heart. God is spirit, and He is served by that which is incorporeal in us. True worship means offering ourselves as a living sacrifice, circumcising not the flesh but evil thoughts and desires, and crucifying what is contrary to Christ. We pray with you that our gatherings, whether in the church building or in homes, would be marked by that kind of worship, by reverence, by faith to receive the Word with humility that saves the soul as James 1:21 says, and by freedom to worship as the Holy Spirit anoints and teaches.

We also stand with you for protection and safety, that the Lord would keep His people from the evil one as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, from deception, false teaching, fear and the lies of the enemy, and that He would give warning and wisdom as He did in the days of Elisha. We ask Him to put a hunger for His Word in every heart like newborn infants longing for pure milk, and to grant repentance, faith and the knowledge of forgiveness through the crucified and risen Lord.

May the Lord continue to give you faith to pray and to seek Him with all your heart, to gather often with the saints as Hebrews 10:25 exhorts, and to trust His promises that when we ask according to His will He hears us. We thank Him for your burden for prayer, for families, for households to be saved as in Acts 16:31, and for the church to remain steadfast in the apostles teaching and fellowship. We will keep praying that God will be manifest among His people by His presence, give vision by His Spirit, and keep us all abiding in His grace until the end.

In Jesus name, amen.
