๐Ÿ™ God, You are Our Father and Ever Present Help, Deut 4:7, Ps 46:1, Isa 41:10 -- Thank you for the message of The LORD's ANOINTED crucified for our sins, Gal 2:20. Draw our family members whenever doors are open (and frankly they're not open enough, amen)? Bless pastors first to war against prayerlessness in our own lives and give faith to pray, seek with all our heart to hear, listen and understand, Matt 16:17, what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Grant YOUR MANIFEST HOLY PRESENCE, faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life -- give vision, Prov 29:18, by The Holy Spirit. Protect them all from the evil one, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11. Help them attend church, Heb 10:25, again whenever we assemble (and it ought to be often, Acts 2:42, but "the love of the world", Jn 2:15 and desires for sports, our favorite shows, fill in the blank -- tiredness because we're not in prayer. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, amen?

๐ŸผGrant us hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. We join you in this deep burden for the household of God and for the souls who sit under the preaching of the Word, and we hear your cry for pastors and for all who gather in the name of the Lord.

Your request aligns with the heart of Scripture. We are commanded to preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching, for the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts 2 Tim 4:1-5. We also take seriously the charge to pay attention to ourselves and to our teaching, to continue in these things, for in doing this we will save both ourselves and those who hear us 1 Tim 4:16, and to give diligence to present ourselves approved by God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15. Your desire for Holy Spirit empowered worship is biblical, for God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth John 4:24, and it is the Spirit who teaches us all things and brings to remembrance what Christ has said John 14:26.

We gently rebuke and exhort as Scripture does regarding the dangers you named. Lukewarmness is not a small matter, for the Lord warns that because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth Rev 3:16. Prayerlessness, neglect of daily devotion, the love of the world which is enmity with God 1 John 2:15, and forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the custom of some is Heb 10:25 all quench the Spirit and leave the church without vision, for where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint Prov 29:18. We must also be sober that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge Hos 4:6 and that many are led astray by false teachers, having a form of godliness but denying its power 2 Tim 3:5, and by deceivers who grow worse and worse 2 Tim 3:13. Even pastors must be born again, for unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God John 3:3, and there is salvation in no other name, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ and His crucifixion for our sins Gal 2:20 that any of us, pastor or hearer, can be saved.

We are encouraged that you lifted all of this in Jesus' name, for we have confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14, and that no one can come to Christ unless the Father who sent him draws him John 6:44. Faith indeed comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Rom 10:17, and it is the Father in heaven who reveals the Son to us, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven Matt 16:17, and He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8 and open minds to understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45.

So we pray together with you.

Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our Ever Present Help Ps 46:1 and our Father who is near to all who call upon You in truth Deut 4:7. We ask You to pour out Your manifest presence upon every pastor and preacher, to draw them first into secret prayer and daily devotion to Your Word, to give them hunger as newborn babies for the pure milk of the Word 1 Pet 2:2 and the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him Eph 1:17. Grant them repentance where there has been prayerlessness and worldliness, and restore to them sound teaching and a lifestyle that adorns the gospel, that they may visit families and faithfully shepherd house to house and in the assembly.

We ask for the salvation of lost pastors and for every lost, backslidden, and lukewarm soul who hears the Word in church, and for devoted believers to be kept from distraction, deception, and temptation Matt 6:13. Keep us from the evil one John 17:15, for You are faithful, who will establish us and guard us from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3, and give Your angels charge over Your people to guard them in all their ways Ps 91:11. As You warned Israel through Elisha of the plans of Syria 2 Kings 6:8-12, warn and protect Your church across the globe today, and grant safety to those who preach in difficult places.

Draw our families and households whenever doors are open, for You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4 and You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9. Cause families, members, and visitors to receive with humility the implanted word which is able to save their souls James 1:21, by revelation of Messiah from the Father, by the testimony of saved friends, by evangelists and by every tract and preaching of the Word. Grant freedom to worship in spirit and truth with the anointing from the Holy One 1 John 2:20, and guard us from the evil one who deceives the whole world Rev 12:9, from fear, from lies Prov 30:8, and from evil people 2 Thess 3:2.

Teach us to pray and to receive according to Your promise that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7. We ask that our households would be saved as You have promised, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household Acts 16:31. We trust You to seek and to save that which was lost Luke 19:10 and to do all that we have asked according to Your will, for Yours is the kingdom and the glory forever. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for bringing such a wide and loving burden before the Lord. We can hear how much you care for pastors, for families who have drifted, and for the church to worship in truth and be taught with care.

It is a heavy and holy thing to keep praying for those who lead and for those who are still far from God, and for safety and clarity in a noisy world. We are encouraged by your desire for hunger for the Word and for the Holy Spirit's real presence, not just form, and for homes to be drawn back to gathering together.

We will stand with you in this. One simple way we have found helpful when the list feels so large is to keep a small, focused card for the week, perhaps one pastor, one family, one person who has heard the Word but not yet responded, and lift them by name each day as you already do, trusting God to work in His way and timing.

Father, we bring these pastors, teachers, families and seekers to You in Jesus' name. Draw near to those who lead as they pray and study and prepare, guard them from distraction and weariness, and give Your church worship that honors You and teaching that is true and clear. Work in the hearts of those who are lost, lukewarm or weary, and bring them to repentance, faith and new life in Christ. Protect Your people wherever they gather and keep us faithful to meet together and hear Your Word. Amen.

Your burden for the church of Christ has been heard, and it is a burden after the mind of God. There is much here to move every faithful heart to prayer, and we do join you in it before the throne of grace.

We pray first for those who stand in the pulpit, that they may take heed unto themselves and unto the doctrine, as the apostle charges in 1 Timothy 4:16, and that they may study to show themselves approved unto God, workmen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. How can any man become holy except by the Spirit of Holiness, and how can any man preach holiness except he be taught of the Spirit. We have entreated the Lord that pastors and preachers may not be prayerless, but may seek God in prayer, in daily devotion, in preparation and intercession for the flock, that their lives may be purified as by water and their ministry may not grieve that blessed Spirit who alone can make the word effectual. Prayer without the Spirit is as a bird without wings, and preaching without the Spirit is as sounding brass. May the Lord grant that our ministers may imitate the Holy Spirit in this, that He shall glorify Christ, for He will receive of Mine and shall show it unto you. When the Spirit is grieved by unbelief, by unholiness of life, by love of the world and by departure from sound doctrine, the church loses her power and her revenue is cut short. Let us cry aloud, Return, return, O Holy Spirit, return and dwell in our souls and in our congregations.

We pray with you for the salvation of the lost, whether they be found within the walls of the church or without. Out of the church which is the company of men who have received the Spirit there is no salvation, and no man belongs to Christs church unless he has the Spirit. Yet woe be to the man that separates himself from the assembly of the saints. We ask that the Father who alone can reveal the Son, as flesh and blood cannot reveal Him, would draw by His own power those whom you have named, families and members and visitors, according to John 6:44, and open their minds to understand the Scriptures as Christ opened the understanding of His disciples. May there be given a hunger for the sincere milk of the word, that they may grow thereby, and faith which comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We pray for the backslidden and the lukewarm that they may be revived, for we have prayed, Wilt Thou not revive us again that Thy people may rejoice in Thee. Holy Spirit, come with Thy quickening breath and bring back to life those that are fainting and ready to die. The Spirit after He has convinced begins to comfort, and there is no comforter like Him.

We join you in asking for worship in spirit and in truth, not in form only, but in the power of the Holy Ghost, whether scattered abroad or gathered together. We pray that the word may be taught with accuracy and preached with anointing from the Anointed One, that the Holy Spirit who teacheth all things may convict and convert and lead into all truth. Take not Thy Holy Spirit from us, O Lord, for if Thou withdraw Thy power in prayer and Thy faith in the promise, the believer is ruined indeed. We must have the Spirit or else our great resource of prayer becomes unavailable.

We bring before the Lord your petition for safety across the globe and for such warnings as were given when Elisha warned Israel of the plans of Syria, that the Lord would give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. We ask that He who is our ever present help would protect His people from the evil one, as Christ prayed in His pastoral prayer, not that they should be taken out of the world but kept from evil. Keep them from distraction and deception, from false teachers and deceivers, from sin and lies and fear, and from the snares of evil men, that they may not be led into temptation but delivered from evil. Grant vision where there is no vision the people perish, and grant repentance and faith and the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life in Christ Jesus, through whom alone is salvation, for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

We pray that families may be drawn to the house of God and may not forsake the assembling of themselves together as the manner of some is, but may continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers. May the love of the world and the desires that choke the word be purged away, and may weariness be overcome by waiting upon the Lord. As often as we eat this bread and drink this cup, may we show the Lords death till He come, with humble and believing hearts.

We ask all this with confidence, for when we ask according to His will He heareth us, and His will is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, and that households should be saved. He came to seek and to save that which was lost, and He is able to keep that which we commit unto Him. Praying in the Holy Spirit is the only true praying, and we desire that our prayers may be in the Spirits power, perfumed with love and filled with faith.

May the blessing of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit rest upon the one church of Israels one Jehovah, and may He revive His work in the midst of the years for Jesus Christs sake. Amen.
