We join you in lifting up church leaders, pastors and preachers before the throne of grace, for we feel the burden of your prayer and we agree together for a mighty work of God in His church.

We hear your cry for leaders who will live what they preach, who will give themselves to prayer and to the study of the Word, and we know this is the heart of God. As it is written, I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom, preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching 2 Tim 4:1-2. We pray that every pastor would heed this charge, that they would not turn aside to myths but would endure hardship and do the work of an evangelist and fulfill their ministry 2 Tim 4:3-5. We take seriously the warning to pay attention to yourself and to your teaching, continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you 1 Tim 4:16, and we ask the Lord to awaken any lost pastors who may have a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5, who profess to know God but by their deeds deny him Titus 1:16. There is salvation in no other name, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and we pray that any shepherd who has not truly been born again would be saved, that deceivers and evil men who grow worse and worse deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13 would be exposed and brought to repentance.

We pray for the congregation as well, for all who hear the Word in the church, that they would receive the implanted word which is able to save your souls Jam 1:21 not merely as the word of men but as revelation from our Father in heaven, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven Matt 16:17. We ask for the Holy Spirit to convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8 and to guide into all truth John 16:13 and to teach all things and bring to remembrance what Christ has said John 14:26. We pray for true worship, for God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth John 4:24, with the anointing from the Holy One 1 John 2:20, not entertainment or formality but manifest holy presence, faith, repentance and newness of life. We pray for hunger like newborn babies for the pure milk of the Word 1 Pet 2:2 and for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him Eph 1:17, that He would open minds to understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45.

We rebuke the prayerlessness and worldliness that keeps families from the house of God. We confess that too often the love of the world 1 John 2:15 and desires for sports, shows, and distraction, and simple tiredness because we are not in prayer, keeps us from assembling together. Yet we are exhorted not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another Heb 10:25, and the early church continued steadfastly in the apostles teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and prayer Acts 2:42. We pray that pastors would war against prayerlessness in their own lives first, and then faithfully visit families and house churches, preparing and interceding for their flocks, rightly dividing the word of truth. And we pray for families, members and visitors that no one can come to Christ unless the Father who sent him draws him John 6:44, so we ask the Father to draw them whenever the doors are open, to keep them from being led astray as the serpent deceived Eve 2 Cor 11:3, from deception Matt 24:4, from temptation Luke 11:4, from lies and falsehood Prov 30:8, from lying lips and deceitful tongues Zeph 3:13, from evil people 2 Thess 3:2 and from the evil one himself who deceives the whole world Rev 12:9.

We thank You Father that You are near, for what great nation is there that has a god so near to them as Yahweh our God is whenever we call on him Deut 4:7, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Ps 46:1, and You have said Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isa 41:10. We thank You for the message of Your Anointed crucified for our sins, for we have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer we who live but Christ living in us Gal 2:20.

We pray for safety across the globe for Your people, for You will put your angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, they will bear you up in their hands Ps 91:11-12. As You warned Israel through Elisha of Syria's planned operations 2 Kings 6:8-12, we ask that You would still warn and protect Your church today, delivering us from evil Matt 6:13 and guarding us from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3, for You are faithful and will establish and guard us. Where there is no vision the people cast off restraint Prov 29:18, and my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge Hos 4:6, and there is a famine not of bread but of hearing Yahweh's words Amos 8:11, so we ask You to pour out vision and knowledge and keep us from that famine.

We lift up all households, for You desire that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4 and You are not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9. So we claim the promise Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household Acts 16:31, and we pray with confidence that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us, and if You hear us we have the petitions we have asked of You 1 John 5:14-15. Let faith come by hearing the message preached Rom 10:17 and let us have faith to pray and receive Mark 11:24.

So together we pray, Father, grant to Your leaders and to Your people hunger for Your Word, faith to pray and seek with all our heart to hear and understand what You are speaking to each one, grant Your manifest holy presence, repentance, forgiveness of sins and newness of life, keep us from distraction, deception, sin, fear and pride which puffs up 1 Cor 8:1, and let us be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You, and Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We ask that You who keep us from the evil one John 17:15 would establish Your church to be faithful, to break bread often and proclaim the Lord's death until He comes 1 Cor 11:26, not seldom or when we get around to it. All these things we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for all the promises of God in him are Yes and in him Amen to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20, and He is the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness Rev 3:14. Amen.

We are grateful for the burden you carry for pastors, for families, and for the church to walk closely with the Lord. The way you prayed for leaders to seek God in prayer and the Word, for homes to be drawn back to gathering, and for safety and protection over so many, shows a deep love for Christ and for His people. We join you in that.

It can feel heavy to hold so many needs at once, from those who preach to those who hear, and from worship to daily faithfulness at home. What encourages us in your request is that you are already doing the most important work, bringing these people and needs before the Father and asking Him to work in hearts in His way and time.

One simple way to keep this from feeling overwhelming is to keep lifting what is closest to you. Choose a few pastors and families by name that the Lord has put on your heart, and continue to pray for them regularly. Your faithful presence, your own hunger for the Word, and your quiet invitations to gather can be a steady encouragement to them as well.

Father, we lift these pastors and churches to You. Draw each one closer to Yourself, give them hunger for You and strength for each day, and guard them from harm and distraction. Work in families so they know Your love and find their place in Your house. Shape our worship to be true and our lives to be faithful to You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your earnest and weighty prayer and we join you in carrying it before the throne of grace, pleading with the Most High as Jacob did, in humility of spirit and with holy arguments drawn from His own promises.

Your burden for pastors and preachers is according to the mind of God. We pray that every shepherd may take heed to himself and to his doctrine, as it is written, Watch your life and doctrine closely, and persevere in them, for so you will save both yourself and your hearers, 1 Tim 4:16. May they preach the Word in season and out of season, with all patience and sound teaching, as Paul charged Timothy, 2 Tim 4:1 to 5. We ask the Lord to thrust prayerlessness from them and to give them faith to pray, to study, to intercede for their congregations, to visit families and to feed the flock not with notions but with the very Word of God.

For the salvation of souls, both in the pulpit and in the pew, we plead the simple statement of the way of salvation, For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, Rom 10:11. Faith must be urged upon all, for without it there is no salvation. Salvation is of the Lord alone, and it is without money and without price. It is not by our works or merits, but by looking unto Jesus. As the Lord Himself says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, Isa 45:22. How simple and how instantaneous is that way. A look does not require a moment, and whoever looks to Christ by faith shall not be ashamed. We pray that the Holy Spirit may convict and convert, that He may open minds to understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45, and teach all things, Jn 14:26, for flesh and blood does not reveal the Messiah, but our Father in heaven, Matt 16:17.

We join you in praying for holy hunger. As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word, 1 Pet 2:2, so may there be a hunger bite in every soul that will not be satisfied with the world. May the people take a text of Scripture in the morning and chew it all day, with a little prayer here and a little prayer there, meditating upon it and communing with God, that souls may grow thereby. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Rom 10:17.

For households we pray earnestly. A family is not born a Church, and there must be family religion if we would see household salvation, Acts 16:31. Happy is the household which meets every morning and evening for prayer, uniting in supplication. We pray that families may be drawn by the Father, Jn 6:44, that they may not forsake the assembling of themselves together, Heb 10:25, but receive the Word with humility which saves the soul, Jas 1:21, and worship the Father in spirit and in truth, Jn 4:24. May parents train up their children in the fear of God, that we may have rejoicing families because they are renewed families, and at last a united family in heaven.

We also bring before the Lord your prayer for safety across the globe and for warning as Elisha warned Israel. We ask that He who is our ever present help, Ps 46:1, may give His angels charge over His people, to keep them in all their ways, Ps 91:11 to 12, and keep them from the evil one, Jn 17:15, from distraction and deception, from false teachers and deceivers, from temptation and fear, and from the lies of the wicked one. We pray that Christ, our great Shepherd who ever lives to intercede for His own, may keep them in the Father's name and preserve them in unity, for He has said, Those that You gave Me I have kept, and none of them is lost.

May the Lord grant His manifest holy presence, faith and repentance, the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life, and vision by the Holy Spirit, lest the people perish where there is no vision, Prov 29:18. May He who wills that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, seek and save the lost, Lk 19:10, and cause His Word to run and be glorified.

We lay all these petitions before our Father, beseeching Him to hear and answer for the sake of His Anointed who was crucified for our sins, Gal 2:20, in whose name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Father who is our ever present help.

It is right that you ask first for the leaders of the church. A pastor must watch his life and his doctrine closely, as it is written that in doing so he will save both himself and his hearers. Salvation is not the work of the preacher alone, nor of the hearer alone, but both share in it, the one enduring affliction to preach the word faithfully, the other enduring to receive it and not let it go. Therefore we pray that every pastor and preacher would be delivered from prayerlessness, that they would seek God daily in prayer, in study of the word, in preparation and in intercession for their congregations, and that their lives would adorn sound teaching. We ask that those who are lost, even among pastors, would be saved, that their eyes would be opened and the ears of their hearts unstopped to understand the Scriptures.

You have asked well for the church itself, that there would be true worship in spirit and truth, real Bible teaching and preaching, and a holy presence of God among His people. Prayer is a great weapon, and we need it early and by night, for each day brings its own fight and storm. If we first make God favorable to us by prayer, we go out with security, and even if enemies rise we shall not be overcome. We pray that God would give hunger for His word as newborn infants long for milk, that He would grant the Spirit of revelation so that what flesh and blood cannot reveal, the Father in heaven would reveal, that Christ crucified for our sins would be clearly proclaimed and received in humility which saves the soul.

We pray for families and visitors, that the Father who draws people to His Son would draw them, that they would not forsake assembling together as is the habit of some, but would come often and gladly to hear the word, to break bread and to worship with freedom and with the anointing that comes from the Anointed One who teaches us all things. The field is already white for harvest, the multitude of souls prepared for the preaching, and God wills that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. He hears us when we ask according to His will, and His will is that none should perish but all should come to repentance.

We also bring before the Lord your request for safety and warning across the world, that He would give His angels charge over His people and guard them, and that as He once warned Israel through Elisha of the plans of the enemy, so He would still warn and protect His people from harm. We ask the Lord to keep His church from distraction, deception, temptation, false teaching and deceivers, from sin and lies and fear, and to protect all from the evil one, for the Lord is faithful and will guard us.

Let us continue helping together by prayer, for even when God acts in mercy, prayer contributes mightily. Let us remain awake and alert, not negligent in hearing or in doing, whether in little things or great, at home or in the church. May the Lord grant faith to pray and to receive, faith that comes by hearing the message preached, and may He grant repentance, forgiveness of sins, newness of life and vision by the Holy Spirit, so that when we ask we may have confidence that He hears and answers.

We will keep praying with you for these things, that God would be glorified in His church, that His word would run and be honored, and that many more would be added to the number of those who are being saved, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
