Please Lord deliver all of us from all evil surrounding us with Your hedge of protection, favor, safe travel according to Your Promises in Ps 91,121, Is 54:17, 1Jn4:4,2Thess 3:2-3, Rev21:5 May all Glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord in Jesus Name Amen "Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God" (2 Corinthians 3:5)

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your humble reliance on the Lord, acknowledging that our adequacy comes from God alone, as 2 Corinthians 3:5 reminds us. We lift up the work you are about to undertake in the next two days, asking the Father to anoint every interaction, every word, and every decision with His divine wisdom and love.

Father, we pray that your Agape love would flow through every conversation and intervention, softening hearts and opening minds to receive the care and encouragement that only You can provide. Grant favor in all meetings, that doors would open effortlessly and relationships would be built on trust and mutual respect. May your Holy Spirit go before you, preparing the hearts of those you will encounter, clients, supervisors, colleagues, and patients, so that they are receptive to the guidance and support you offer. Let nothing be forgotten, and may every detail be ordered by Your perfect will.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or distraction that may seek to hinder this work. Instead, we declare that you will move with poise, self-assurance, and professionalism, reflecting the confidence that comes from walking in alignment with Christ. For those grieving, we ask for an outpouring of Your comfort and peace, that they may feel Your presence in their pain and find strength in unity with one another. May Your love cover every situation, bringing healing and restoration where it is needed most.

Lord, we lift up your adult children, asking for Your hedge of protection around them. Guard them in times of danger, favor them in their endeavors, and surround them with godly influences. For your daughter, we pray for healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and for success in her work and schooling. Help her and her brother to see themselves through Your eyes, as beloved children of God, fearfully and wonderfully made. We also pray for her marriage, that her husband would grow in understanding, patience, and acceptance, reflecting the love of Christ for His church. Show us how we can support and encourage them, and close any doors that would lead to harm while opening pathways to blessing and godly connections.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, declaring Psalm 91 and 121 over our lives, protection, provision, and peace in every journey. We claim Isaiah 54:17, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and 1 John 4:4, that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We thank You for Your faithfulness to deliver us from evil, as 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 assures us, and for the promise of Revelation 21:5, that You are making all things new.

Father, empower us to love You with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love one another as You have loved us. Let our lives be a testament to Your grace, and may all glory, honor, and praise be Yours, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We’re grateful you shared this with us. Carrying both a full slate of care for others over the next two days and deep personal burdens for your family can feel like a lot to hold. That weight is real, and we want you to know we’re shoulder to shoulder with you in prayer, not just for the work ahead but for the ones you love.

When you meet that new client, the best thing you can bring isn’t a polished technique but a steady, unhurried presence. Rapport often doesn’t come from having all the right words, it grows in the quiet spaces where someone feels really heard. Maybe before you walk into that first meeting, take just ten seconds to breathe a silent prayer: “Lord, help me see this person the way You do, and help me listen well.” That simple pause can loosen the pressure we sometimes put on ourselves and let God’s kindness carry the conversation more than our effort. We’re not asking Him to make us impressive, just open and useful.

Those prayers you’re already praying for your daughter’s marriage, for your children’s protection, and for broken relationships to mend, those aren’t a footnote to your work; they’re part of the same trusting dependence on a God who holds all of it. We join you in asking Him to soften hearts where they’ve gone hard, to build understanding between husband and wife, and to shield your family from harm in ways you may never even see.

Here’s our prayer for you today:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear caregiver to You. Go before them into every room, every conversation, every fragile moment. Grant that special rapport with this new client, not manufactured, but flowing naturally from Your love. Give wisdom that arrives in the moment, poise that steadies the heart, and words that carry genuine encouragement. For the grieving family, wrap them in comfort that surpasses explanation. We ask for safe travels, for favor where it’s needed, and for nothing important to slip through the cracks. For their daughter, bring healing in her work and schooling and a deepening tenderness in her marriage. Close doors that lead to harm, and open doors to kind, Christ-shaped friendships. Cover us all with Your protection, and let Your love be the loudest thing in the room today. Amen.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God. This very confession is the only right footing for all your labor. You feel your weakness pressing upon you as you look at the two days ahead, the new client, the grieving family, the patients needing both skillful intervention and a word in season. Let that sense of weakness drive you to the Anointed One, for weakness and divine anointing may stand together. The king anointed of God yet cries out, "I am weak," and finds his strength not in the oil that ran down his head but in the God who commanded the anointing. Go then with your emptiness to His fullness.

Take up the shield of faith against every assault that will come against your mind in these encounters. The enemy will whisper that you lack rapport, that your words will falter, that some crucial thing will be forgotten. Cast not away your confidence. A shield must be handled, and faith handled well turns every dart aside. When the fear rises that you shall prove inadequate for this new client, lift up the shield and say, "It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again." His finished work is both your sword and your shield. The adversary will find no terror like the terror of the cross, there his accusations perish, for your acceptance with God and your adequacy for every good work were purchased there.

This is the tender mercy of our God, that He does not stand afar off, but His mercy overtakes you in the very place of your labor. A singular season for mercy is the moment of felt need, the desert place by the well where you sit conscious of your own insufficiency. The Great Interpreter, the Messenger of the Covenant, meets you there not with demands but with mercy's provision. The least things about Christ are full of healing virtue, and you are sent to carry these leaves to the nations, to the mourning family, to each patient, to your own children for whom your heart yearns. Do you desire that you might speak encouraging and needed words? Then dip every syllable in the leaves of that tree which is for the healing of the nations. Christ's own tenderness can so fill your manner that empathy, assertiveness, and professionalism become not forced performances but the natural outflow of love rooted in Him.

For your daughter and her husband, for your children, for every broken place you have named, hope in God's mercy, but see that your hope is sound. A true hope in mercy feels its need of that mercy and renounces every other confidence. You cannot mend the marriage, you cannot heal the heart, you cannot shut the doors that lead to harm. But He can, and His mercy is Gratis, freely given, asking no payment, acting from no motive raised or suggested by anything in us. Plead His promises: the hedge of protection, the deliverance from evil, the open doors for Christian connections. These are the two lines of the one tramway, your responsibility to handle the shield with watchful prayer, and His sovereign right to give mercy as He wills. Travel upon both till you reach the great terminus.

Go now into these two days with your shield upon your arm and your adequacy drawn from the Fountainhead. The Lord make you a healing presence, grant you that special rapport you seek, bring to your remembrance every needed word, and cover all with His agape love. He has promised, and He cannot deny Himself.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
