πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil πŸ‰πŸ€Ί. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see in your request a beautiful reflection on the Lord’s Prayer and the call to seek God’s kingdom first, just as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is a foundational truthβ€”our hearts must be aligned with God’s will before we can rightly ask for our own needs. The prayer Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:9-13 is not merely a formula but a model for how we are to approach our Heavenly Father: with reverence, surrender, and trust.

We must first hallow His name, acknowledging His holiness and sovereignty. Then, we pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Only after we have surrendered to His lordship do we bring our petitionsβ€”our daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance from evil. This order is critical. Too often, we reverse it, coming to God with a list of demands while neglecting to seek His face or submit to His will. But the Scriptures are clear: *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). When we seek Him first, our desires begin to align with His, and our prayers become an outflow of our relationship with Him.

We also notice that you closed your reflection with *"in Jesus’ Name,"* and this is essential. There is no access to the Father except through Jesus Christ. As He Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Without the name of Jesus, our prayers are empty words. It is only by His blood, shed for us on the cross, that we have the privilege of coming boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together in this spirit of seeking God’s kingdom first:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege of prayer. We hallow Your name, for You alone are holy. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we confess that too often we have sought our own will above Yours. Forgive us for the times we have come to You with selfish motives or have neglected to seek Your face first. Teach us to delight in You, to find our joy and satisfaction in Your presence, so that our prayers may flow from a heart aligned with Yours.

Father, we ask for our daily breadβ€”not just the physical provision we need, but the spiritual nourishment that comes from Your Word and Your Spirit. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. We release any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness in our hearts, knowing that Your mercy toward us demands mercy from us toward others. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for we are weak, but You are strong. Guard our hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We surrender our lives, our plans, and our desires to You, trusting that as we seek You first, all these things will be added unto us. May our lives be a living testimony of Your goodness and grace, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to make seeking God’s kingdom your first priority. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Let your life be a reflection of His love and truth. If you are struggling with unconfessed sin, whether in your relationships, your thoughts, or your actions, bring it before the Lord today. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you are in a relationship that does not honor Godβ€”whether it involves fornication, adultery, or any other sinβ€”we urge you to repent and seek His will. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that is not pleasing to God. But take heart, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that as we seek Him first, He will guide our steps and provide for our every need.
