This is not a passive submission but an active trust, believing that as we prioritize His kingdom, He will provide for our needs—just as Jesus promised in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Yet we must also examine our hearts when we pray, *"Give us this day our daily bread."* This is not a demand for excess but a humble acknowledgment of our dependence on God. It is a plea for provision, not entitlement. And when we ask for forgiveness, we must also extend it to others, for our own forgiveness is tied to our willingness to forgive (Matthew 6:14-15).
