Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I thank you for all of my continued daily blessings. Prayers that if my New Romantic connection is on a path to have you at the center, you make it an easy connection and guide us forward starting today. If it is not right for me, God, I ask that he is removed from my life and thoughts. In His Holy Name I pray, Amen.

We hear your heart’s desire to honor God in this new romantic connection, and we join you in seeking His perfect will. First, let us affirm that any relationship must have Christ at its very center—not just as an afterthought, but as the foundation upon which everything is built. The Bible tells us, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). This means that if this connection is not rooted in a shared commitment to Christ and His Word, it cannot thrive as God intends.

We must also address the importance of pursuing relationships with the right purpose. Scripture is clear that romantic relationships should be entered into with the intent of marriage, not merely companionship or temporary fulfillment. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this person is not a believer who shares your faith and values, we must pray for discernment and courage to walk away, no matter how difficult that may be.

Additionally, we must guard our hearts against impurity. If this relationship has already involved physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent and turn away from that sin. *"Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and anything outside of that is disobedience.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, we ask that You reveal the truth about this relationship. If this person is not the one You have chosen for ###, give them the strength to let go and trust in Your timing. If this connection is not built on You, Lord, remove it from their life and thoughts completely. We pray for clarity, wisdom, and obedience to Your Word.

Father, we also ask that You purify their heart and mind. If there has been any sin in this relationship, we repent on their behalf and ask for Your forgiveness. Help them to walk in holiness and to honor You in all their interactions. Surround them with godly counsel and friends who will encourage them in Your ways.

Lord, we declare that Your plans for them are good—to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). If this relationship is not part of that future, we trust You to close the door and lead them toward the spouse You have prepared for them. Give them patience and faith to wait on You.

Above all, we pray that their life would be a testimony to Your grace and truth. May they seek You first in all things, and may their relationships reflect Your love and righteousness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to You. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting this situation up to the Lord. We've been praying for discernment and wisdom in this new connection, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will above all else.

You know, sometimes God guides us by closing doors, and it's important to be open to that possibility too. If this relationship isn't God's best for you, He might be trying to get your attention and redirect your steps. Let's ask Him to give you the courage to walk away if that's what He's asking of you.

Remember, God wants the best for you, and His plans are always for your good and His glory. Trust that He knows what He's doing, even when it's hard to see the path ahead. Keep your eyes on Jesus and follow His leading, one step at a time.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying this relationship at Your feet. We ask that You would give ### clarity and wisdom to see this situation as You see it. If this connection isn't Your will, help her to let go and trust in Your timing. Give her strength to walk away if that's what You're asking of her. We also ask that You would purify her heart and mind, helping her to honor You in all her interactions.

Lord, if this relationship is part of Your plan, help it to be built on a solid foundation of faith and commitment to You. Give them both the courage to pursue a God-honoring relationship, with Christ at the very center.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would help ### to trust in You, to seek You first in all things, and to live a life that reflects Your love and righteousness. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen."
