air conditioning issue

Now I have an airconditioning issue. The air goes on, but the temperature stays the same. I have a contract with a maintenance company, but they give a range of 5 hours, and could pop up at the beginning or end of the range. Which would be adventurous with my work schedule. Also, it's covered...
