Dear Lord,

Thank You for the moments we get to spend time with You as we choose to abide in You. Thank You for leading us and walking with us in this world. We pray we would continue to practice reconciliation in our marriage. Conflict and disagreements are so challenging to our relationship. We pray we would be better at reconnecting during those hard moments. Please help us to walk humbly with each other. Please remind us to come to You in prayer for our marriage and for greater wisdom...

 

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your lovingkindness and compassion. Thank You for being so gracious. Thank You for Your mercy and love. We lift up our marriage to You today. We pray we would be a couple who seeks peace in our relationship. We pray we would be a couple who has compassion for each other. Please give us eyes to see and understand what each other is enduring through and how we can help each other. We pray we would be kind and loving toward one another just as You have been toward us...

 

Once upon a time, research about sex had mostly been done by The Kinsey Institute and/or Masters & Johnson. Fast forward to now, and there are not only many studies, but whole journals dedicated to sex research. Consequently, we know a lot more about the physiology of sex, as well as its emotional and relational impact.

But not all research is well-done or applicable to the Christian life. We should use caution and discernment when looking at these studies. So let’s look at the perks and...

Thank You for our marriage. We love our marriage. We have been through many different seasons together. We have experienced some highs and lows. We are grateful to have our marriage and endure together. We pray we would always see our marriage as an awesome gift from You. Please help us to treat one another as a gift from You. It’s been too long since I posted here! I do have things to say about sex, but maintaining my blog has been a distant second to regaining my health lately. I need that health to keep both myself and my ministry on track. So today, I’m going to do something I never, ever do: just write a post and publish it without editing much, if at all.
