Thank you for giving us such a great example in Jesus for how to love others. This is how we love like Christ, by dying daily to our flesh and desires and to put each other first. In doing this we will be fulfilling Your law. This is so hard sometimes Lord, we need Your Holy Spirit to help us on a daily basis. Help us to LOVE.

Dear Lord,

Thank you that Your mercies are renewed for us every morning. We definitely need it. Lord, we pray for our hearts and others who are quick to become angry. Sometimes we get irritated, annoyed, or frustrated so easily and then we let out our anger. Instead, we should slow down and allow Your Holy Spirit to calm us and speak to us. We want to be men and women that have control over our temper and thoughts so that we can love each other better. Give us Your understanding Lord.

Lord,

Thank you for the grace You have for us. Please forgive us for the words we speak to each other and the way we talk to one another. There are times that we do not guard what comes out of our mouths and instead, say whatever we want. This is not how You desire us to be. You desire us to be constrained and self-controlled so that we would not say something that would be hurtful or dishonoring. We need to learn to be more restrained in our words. Please Help us do this Lord.
