Forgiving yourself at times can be the hardest thing to do. We walk around feeling horrible, bad and weary for our mistakes. A few weeks ago I had a hard time forgiving myself. I made the same mistakes over and over again; praying over and over again about the same thing asking God for his forgiveness. God encouraged me and said He already forgave me, now it’s time to start forgiving myself. Forgiving Yourself of the Past Beating yourself up about what happened days, weeks, months or even years ago? As much as we would like to, we cannot go in the past and correct those mistakes. However, we can make a decision to learn from them and start forgiving ourselves. One of the most important factors to realize is that you’re human; you will...
Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 This was what God impressed on my heart weeks ago. Some of you know what has been going on in my life. Me and my 3 kids was abandoned, but God restored my family. I keep on praying that God will help me to completely forgive as he had forgiven me and to forget the past and hurtful things that had happened to me and my family. I prayed that God will give me justice, but did you know what God made me do? He made me do something for the person/s that has caused so much pain in my life. (I was told to buy things for the other woman's child) God even provided the money for it (God wont take no for an answer). No matter how much it...

THE NEW BIRTH! By Bibleman According to the Bible and the experiences of born again Christians the New Birth is an amazing event! This great event establishes the truth of the Christian religion because only God, the Creator of man and all things, could perform such a unique and life-changing transformation in the hearts and lives of His people. No other religion or system of belief can purify or completely change the human heart and spirit within man. WHY A NEW BIRTH? Everyone is born with a carnal and sinful nature inherited from Adam. The apostle Paul described this nature as the law of sin that dwells within us (Rom. 7:7). It is not possible to be holy or live a life of righteousness because this old nature continually brings...
BIBLICAL SEPARATION! By Bibleman The Bible plainly teaches that all Christians must separate from an ungodly lifestyle and from friendships that are ungodly. Separation from all worldly and ungodly influences enables us to not be overcome by the world or conformed to its ways (Rom. 12:2). WHY SEPARATION? Sin separates us from having a relationship with God (Isa. 59:2). Those who belong to a secular or nonChristian organization will become a partaker of that organizations evil deeds (Rev. 18:4). Fellowship with unbelievers is prohibited. Such people can lead you into sin and disfavor with God (Ex. 33:15,16; Josh. 23:13; Prov. 28:19). We cannot be holy before God if we do not remain separate from such people and their organizations...
CHRISTIANS! AVOID YOGA! By Bibleman Is yoga simply a harmless method to improve ones health and wellness? Can a Christian participate in yoga sessions at the local YMCA without endangering his faith and without physical harm? According to the book “New Age Cults and Religions,” by Texe Marrs, pages 290-298, Yoga is not simply a harmless series of physical and mental exercises to help one achieve better health but is in reality a Hindu occult spiritual philosophy where a person can eventually experience a “God” or entity directly through its occult meditation practices. The “Concise Dictionary of the Occult and New Age,” page 288, warns that yoga is not merely a harmless breathing and relaxation exercise to develop, stretch, and...

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” Many of us have heard this phrase before but have you ever notice that it’s easier to remember the hurtful things said to you than the good ones? Truth be told, words are very powerful and if used the wrong way, can hurt you. God tells us in His word that “death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21). In other words, you will eat what you speak; the outcome of your future is a byproduct of what you speak whether good or bad. Based upon scripture, your words can do two things for you: curse you or bless you; however, I will focus on how we as Christian curse ourselves (speaking negatively and...
