Through my short blog yesterday, I gave some insight of what I have been going through. And with the help and support of Gods great people on this site, I feel a spring in my step this morning! God is good! I just want to say THANKS!!! I just want to say a simple prayer for you all: Dear God, please continue to touch the lives of Christians all over this world. Minister to them through Your Holy Spirit and guide us all into Your Sanctuary. Please touch those that are in need of healing, in need of guidance, in need of finances, and whatever else God that needs the Holy touch of God....help them all and may we ever be so thankful! We know You are coming soon and we welcome Your return!! We praise Your Name forever! Amen. Guys, have a...
Life as a Christian has its ups and downs. I feel like today I have failed God in some ways. I feel like I have been attacked by Satan. I always want to be on guard and protect my Christianity but sometimes fail and fall short. Has anyone else felt that way? Its a daily thing with me. As I get older.... a husband and parent.... I want my life to be PERFECT. Not earthly perfect but GODLY PERFECT. Am i trying too hard? Is there such a thing as trying too hard? I dont want to use excuses when I make mistakes and make the wrong decisions...the Bible says that "the flesh is weak..." Well, I dont want to use this Scripture as a excuse for my wrong doings. To be a Christian, I want to be just like CHRIST!!! I am not Christ, I am just a man...
Something came over my spirit last night and I wanted to share with everyone While we are standing in the gap for our spouses we put on the armor of God for this battle. We get tired and just when we feel we have defeated Satan he attacks us in a different way. He uses our spouses, friend, clergy and family. They all mean well and are trying to help us. We get distracted by the person and forget that we are battling Satan. We are not fighting the OW/OM, we are not fighting our spouse, and we are in a spiritual warfare. We are fighting Satan. Often time we remember this, though sometimes we may forget, but we need to stop fighting Satan and ignore him. When Peter went to Jesus saying he should not go, Jesus said get thee behind me...
I am overwhelmed with desire to do something lord. I have felt your calling to missions local and far since almost 5 years ago. I see your power and majesty in the miracles and nature around me. Lord, you know my hearts desire. I desire to be useful. I desire to put my hearts desire in action. Lord lead me on the path to where you want me to go.
God gave his only Son, Jesus for mankind to have opportunity to come to him. He sacrificed his Son, Jesus, as a lamb to the slaughter. Jesus, God in the flesh, suffered for us, for our sins. He was beat, he was disrespected and hated in all ways. All of his friends and followers fled and hid because they were afraid. He suffered alone. He was nailed on the cross and tormented. He was innocent, without sin. He never raised his voice, he never complained. He suffered, bled and died to atone our sins....After his death, his body was prepared and wrapped and left in a tomb with a large, heavy stone closing it. Then on the 3rd day, the stone was rolled away and his body was gone. His disciples, at first thought someone had taken his body...
Click Here to Read or Download This Free Three Part Book about the Passion of Christ. In this superb work, Schilder blends in a masterful way this culmination of our Lord’s earthly life with historical facts and realities. With a profound and unusual awareness the author analyzes the recorded words, gestures and deeds of the Christ from the time He passes through the gate of Jerusalem on His way to Golgotha to the moment of His death. While the author keeps Christ at the very center of his discourses, he focuses a searching light on each of the characters who emerge into prominence during the events of that first Good Friday; not because of an interest in them as isolated individuals, but because of the significance of the...
God is good. I feel so happy and blessed to be a new wife. I love standing behind my husband 100 percent. You see, we aren't in the best of situations but I will praise God anyway! My husband and I got married December 14, 2012 and on January 22, 2013 he got locked up and has been every since. If it wasn't for my husband being in jail my relationship wouldn't have blossomed with the Lord. Before all of this happened I wouldn't read my bible at all and would barely pray, now I do both just about everyday. So the bad isn't always bad but please keep my husband and I in your prayers. I need my husband home- we are a young couple 20 and 21. Trying to keep the faith that my baby will be home with no jail/prison time minus the time he has been...

The key to lasting happiness and true fulfillment in this world is not found in self-gratification but in bringing gratification to the heart of God. And while the Lord desires that we enjoy His many gifts, He wants us to know that we are not only created by Him but for Him as well.-Francis Frangipane http://www.identitynetwork.net/apps/articles/default.asp?blogid=2093&view=post&articleid=84486
