(I Corinthians 15:57-58) “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.†Life has not seemed fair lately; you have had one storm after another come against you. You have had job trouble, more bills than money coming in, relationship trouble and problems with your children. They are hitting all at once and if you are anything like me you really feel like sitting down and having a good cry! Well, go ahead and cry! Sometimes you do need to let it out, even “Jesus wept.†But after you have a good cry remember the words of this verse! The enemy can throw...
I thank GOD that we are a nation under HIM the rock on which we stand, I thank GOD that we are free in HIS name to worship and bring others to HIM, I thank GOD for the blessings and freedoms that we have obtained in this great nation, Most of all I thank GOD that we are INDEPENDENT. What do you thank GOD for on this special day?
I DECREE: I am the healed of the Lord, for He bore my sins and carried my sicknesses/diseases in His own body on the tree, therefore I do not say ’I am sick’, for my iniquities have been forgiven. My soul does magnify the Lord for He has forgiven my sins and healed all of my diseases. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken my mortal body by His Spirit that DWELLS IN ME, therefore I command my body to receive that truth in Jesus name! I am one with the Lord, for it’s in Him that I live and move and have my being. On the authority of the Word of God, I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the...

Hello friends! As you know I've been posting quite a few prayer requests on a few different topics. Here are some updates.... My cousin James: He was supposed to be paralyzed from the neck down, but he is able to move his neck and shoulders. He has some feeling in his arms but cannot make controlled movements nor grip anything. There have been some unconfirmed (with the doctors, that is) feeling in his thigh and rear end (When a person is paralyzed, they shouldn't have any care in the world about receiving an enema.... James was VISIBLY uncomfortable! This is a good sign!) Small strides have been made, but he still needs our prayers! My fiance: He has been so lovingly and willingly attending church with me, even with the 30 minute...

WHAT MADE YOU COME HOME? My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:1-6 "Bob, what made you come home?" I wish I had a dollar for every time I have been asked that question. The first time was the Sunday after our remarriage and honeymoon to the Bahamas on a cruise ship for three days. Charlyne and I were in church together. A friend...
CONSIDER IT PURE JOY Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. James 1:2-3 This scripture was laid on my heart a few days ago while driving in the car, home from applying for an apartment for myself and my children. I have been overwhelmed with deep grief the last month, because both my husband and I have to move at the same time, and yet he refuses to live with me, despite the intimate relationship that has developed between us since I began standing in earnest three months ago. I had cried out, “What is Your will, Lord??†And the Lord revealed to me that my husband is going the wrong way, trying to build a house on the sand...
