Jesús was going throughout all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of illness. Mat. 4.23 What a wonderful example we have of Jesús. Teaching others about the kingdom of God. Telling them about eternal aspect of our lives. Calling people to repent. Healing those who had all kinds of infirmities. A disciple is not above His teacher. but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Luke 5.40 I want to be like Jesús full of mercy and compassion on peoples lives. Teaching them to obey His commands, To be closer to God in prayer and meditation. Being trained in our eternal home we have in heaven. Blessed Lord Jesús,.. Make my like You. Train...
(Genesis 8:21) “The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in His heart: ‘Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.’ God does not want worship that is a lot of show and no heart. Just as described in (Matthew 6:5) “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth; they have received their reward in full.” This passage is talking about how you pray, but it goes for all things concerning God, your prayer life and your worship. Things done for the show and praise of men will be...
Down in adoration I come before You, My Lord, my Saviour. My all. Oh sacred head full of thorns, Blood running down His cheeks, It was for me, for me Oh Lord, You have suffered so much. You have given your life for me. Faith for all defects, Fixing our eyes on You, You alone can fill our hearts with joy. To the everlasting Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit, Who reigns on high, Who loves us with an everlasting love, Be honor, blessing, all glory to Him Now and forever more. Amen
GENESIS 15: 16-33 [ AND THE LORD SAID, SHALL I HIDE FROM ABRAHAM THAT THING WHICH I DO ?] And the men rose up from thence and looked toward Sodom: and ### went with them on the way. vs. 17. And the Lord said, Shall I hide from ### that thing which I do; vs. 18. Seeing that ### shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? vs. 19. For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgement; that the LORD may bring upon ### that which he has spoken of him. vs. 20. And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; vs. 21. I will go down...
The closer I get to the heart of Jesus the more amazed I become by His wonderful grace and mercy toward me personally. Do you have a quality time in prayer and meditation with Him? What did He tell you when you bow down before His holy presence? When was the last time you went to the house of the Lord to praise and adore His name? Did you feel His presence right there? How much time do you spend reading His word? Dear Jesus. Your holy presence is so precious in our hearts and souls. Come to our house and live there forever. Amen
Now thank we all our God. With heart with hands and voices. Who wondrous things hath done. In whom His world rejoices. Who from our mothers arms hath blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love And still is ours today. Let us all bow down before Him who knows our whole being, our desires and our wishes. With hearts hands and voices let us all lift our voices in praise, in honor and to glorify His holy name. He has done wondrous things in our lives and the lives of those who love Him with all their heart, mind and soul. Bless His name. Worship Him in the beauty of His holiness. Come into His courts with praise, Lift up your voice and sing, Along with the angels in heaven, All praise, all honor and all glory be to Him...
Dear Lord, As I lift up to you my desire for a godly wife please continue to conform the desires of my heart to Your heart’s desires. Cause me to delight in You more than any other thing. Please prepare her also to be the godly wife, that she will be a rare jewel of a blessing to me (her future husband). Please raise her up to be a Proverbs 31 woman who lives in the fear of You (Proverbs 31:30). Preserve her for me (her future husband) and guard her heart. (Song of Solomon 2:7, 8:9) I thank You God that even as You are preparing her, You are also raising up for her, me (a man) who loves Jesus with all his heart, mind, soul and strength — a man after Your very heart (Matthew 22:37). Raise me up in Your Word, let me be meditating on Your...
Well where do I start? This is my first ever attempt at a blog ever. Not bad for a technophobe lol. I joined this site to post a prayer when I was at a very low point in my life. I felt God brought me here for a reason that I did not fully understand. I posted prayers and they all were about me and my situation. Then I was guided to read other prayers and felt the need to respond to other people. I felt the responses I posted were by far too spiritual and intelligent for me. I soon realised that God was using me to help others. Then my problems were far less important. Of course, there were times when I fell backwards a bit and became wrapped up in myself and my life. Now I am in a new chapter again. I still have problems in my life...
