Son of David, have mercy on me. Blind Bartimeaus yelled and screamed in the middle of the street. Jesus full of mercy and compassion heard the cries of the blind man. What do you want me to do for you? Jesus asked him. Rabbi, he said. I want to see. God, Jesus said, your faith has healed you. Mark 10.46 Glory to God for the mercy of His power and His love reaches us all. Love came to us to conquer our fears and all our desires. Only Jesus can heal us from all our infirmites. Just call on Him today. He will heal you from any illness. The darkness of the blind man was gone forever. Jesus will take away the darkness of your life. He is waiting with open arms to come to your heart today. Open your life to Him. Amen
The New Year to come, let us hope to improve the quality of our lives. What has been shared for this past year, has come about by my personal experience for the past two decades, since God came into my life, OH what a change. Making an honest effort to use and to put these principles in my life, has forever changed my life and those around me, mainly my family. Each day, one day at a time, having made a commitment to improve myself...'to be' a better me. I have come to know of a true peace within myself. I still often have tears for those around me, for they know not of this inner peace. All I can do is love them, and continue to practice the spiritual principles I have found to be of profound value in all my affairs...believe it! For...
With Gods help and grace I will do the following during and after the New Year comes around. I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me. I resolve to be faithful to Jesus all year round. Nothing will I worship except Jesus and do His will. No destructive talk or anything that despleases God will come out of my mouth. Bless God every single day of my life and bless others too just as Jesus told us to do. I will prevent burn out specially with the work of God. Will not allow the devil to come in the house or my heart by praying daily and praising Jesus. Casting all my care and all my worries on Jesus because He cares for us. Show the love and respect to our pastor, assistant pastor and help them in anyway I can. I will not...
Jesus, the very thought of Thee, Makes my soul rejoice in You alone. With sweetness fills my heart, But sweeter by far Thy face to see, And in Thy presence rest. When you are in prayer and in supplication to the Lord, His holy presence comes to you and fills your heart with joy. Teaching your children, instructing them in the word so when they grow old they will not depart from it. Praying to God that the generation that follow us will not depart from His commandments. Let them hear His voice saying to all of us. My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strenght is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmites that the power of Christ may rest upon me. II Cor. 12.9 O hope of every contrite...
I sit here, thinking about all that is going in my life right now and wonder how in the world some people make it! Then, as it is the Christmas season, my mind wanders to the young woman who was carrying a child who would become the savior of mankind. How did she feel, knowing that people thought badly of her and having no place to rest while being full term with child? She and her fiancé were obeying the law and going to pay their taxes. Did she HAVE to go? What was the purpose to her traveling so far while in her physical condition? Oh, yes, to fulfill the prophesy that a virgin would conceive and bare a son and call him Jesus. This very young woman had to have been scared and nervous about the trip. She must have been very tired and...
" But you are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that you should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10. Annette Capps: In 1972, I first heard the teaching on faith and confession. It took faith in God's Word to believe that you can have what you say. I had never heard of such a concept and had it not been for the fact that the principle was plainly written in the Bible, I would have considered it to be crazy. However, there it was in red letters, spoken by Jesus no less! "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saithshall come...
Now also, when I am grey headed, o God forsake me not, until I have showed Thy strenth to this generation, and Thy power to those who is to come. Psalm 71.18 Gods love never ever grows old, we get old with time running out for each of us. We have received the love of God in our hearts and we must give it to others. Specially to the family of God who pray for us constantly. Is there someone to forgive and forget the wrong they did to us? Then let us do that in the name of Jesus. Big house but small family to pray for. They received more education but less common sense. Wisdom comes from our God who gives to those who fear His name. We have advanced medicine to take care of us but we have poor health. High income but less peace of mind...
A prayer to God This is my true heart desire, to love God , to serve him above all and be a chosen vessel that leads this fallen world to him Psalms 25:4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Psalms 119:66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Psalms 109:26 help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy: Psalms 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. Psalms 119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. Psalms 31:1 in thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Psalms 31:3 for thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Father God...
I will be going away to see my relatives, friends from childhood and everyone else. I want to share Jesus with them. I am leaving fear behing and setting my mind trusting in the Lord Jesus. For this God is our God for ever and ever. He will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48. 14 O fathomless mercy and compassion of God over our lives. In humble thanksgiving I come to You today. Asking for guidance and direction in each of our lives. Thou has not failed anyone at all. Thou art my strenght and my stay Now and forever more.
