Spirituality is not in the realm of material or physical things...its an attitude of mind, a warmth of the heart. A spiritual dimension where material and physical things can't get the upper hand in life's daily struggles. A constant commitment of ones own self to attain a closer Presence of the Divine Spirit...within ones own self. For nowhere, or nothing under the sun shall there be found what it is that is needed...until one comes face to face with the one in the mirror. One must know above all else...for ever to dwell on things one cannot manage, or change, shall forever keep one away from the deepest problem of all...SELF. Make no mistake...words to see are not from 'readings of the letters'...but from a life happening experience...

We have three things...fellowship, faith and service. Fellowship is wonderful, but its wonder lasts just so long. Away from fellowship may come gossip, disillusionment and boredom may set in. Worry, fear, despair and depression may come back, and one may find that fellowship is not the whole story. For then one needs faith...for when alone, with nobody to give a pat on the back...alone one must turn to God of ones own understanding...one must come to know, and know it well..."Thy will be done" and Honestly mean it with all of ones being. There is a wonderful and unique beauty in a God-guided life...for of the wonder in the feeling of being led by God...amazing grace! One should try to realize God's bounty and goodness more and more each...

"Lord, we thank Thee for the great gift of peace, that peace which passeth all understanding, that peace which the world can neither give nor take away." That is the peace that only God can give in the midst of a restless world and surrounded by trouble and difficulty. To know that peace is to have received the stamp of the kingdom of God. When you have earned that peace, you are fit to judge between true and false values, between the values of the kingdom of God and the values of all that the world has to offer. Ok so I know I said I wouldn't be on for a while. But, I just couldn't help myself. I witnessed the most incredibly, unselfish thing a week or so ago. I wrote about having been thrown out of Texas Children's Hospital, into the rain. Well, here's the flip-side to that inhumane act. While "visiting" still another hospital in the Texas Medical Center, during yet another storm, instead of throwing the "least of these" out into the street, on a stormy night, Memorial Hermann Hospital, seemingly (I don't want to get anybody in trouble) "SEEMINGLY," did just the opposite.
