Make no mistake...getting right with ones own self has to be the first order of things...for it works no other way. Does not the 'breathe of God'...tell of this very thing. But the communities are in contempt of this truth...for so long as one is not willing to change, one can expect to be ever 'away' from knowing of god's 'presence'... one cannot hide in self knowledge of 'readings' of the 'words'... for testimony of the heart and soul are a display of ones love of God. One must know this and know it well...God's work has been done. Each shall be held accountable and responsible for attitude and actions of all our affairs and in our testimony of ones true self...for within ones own self...shall...
"Why you gotta be all extra?!!" . . . was the question posed to me recently, by a county jailhouse clerk, as she processed my release paperwork. That's right, I was thrown in jail again, right before Christmas, for "trespassing" this time for the unauthorized use of a hospital cafeteria's microwave. I should probably be thankful that I didn't get the death penalty, this is, after all, Texas (humor ya'll). Back to the question posed. My initial, emotionally charged, response was to rebuke and remind the clerk that she had not walked in my shoes, therefore, how dare she judge my testimony or my worship. When Jesus shall appear in the clouds in majesty and great glory to take us all home to heaven. Since the days we were small we were taught to wait on the Lord no matter our situation in life. Our Sunday school teacher told us to wait for Gods mercy and compassion. He will never leave us hanging around. He will guide our steps toward heaven. When someone wins your heart and cares for you.. then pray for them. We want to see them in heaven. Let us all remember this. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalm 27.14
A new year is coming. A new adventure in our life. Make sure you are serving Jesus and loving HIm with all your heart, mind and soul. He may come this year and take us all home to glory. Just wait for Him. With open arms He will welcome us home to glory. See the clouds above your head. Wait for Him in prayer and supplication to Him. To save the souls of all our loved ones and friends so we will see them in heaven.
