Union with Christ is both a position we are in, "We are chosen in him before the foundation of the world" (Eph 1:3), and a position we are called to as God beckons us to draw near: "Come with confidence before the Throne of Grace to Receive Mercy and find Grace for Help in Time of Need" (Heb 4:16). The conduit of branches being "in the vine" in John 15 is an appropriate picture country, rustic, agrarian, farming people of Jesus day and vintners in modern times, understood and understand -- branches get sap from the vine and the vine gets moisture from he roots -- but we an even more human, picture of dependence and freely receiving could also be "Come before the Throne of Grace to freely receive mercy and grace like a baby in the womb...

"God is calling...'Come, take my hand, I will give you rest.' Spiritually, physically and mental rest, for of these one may find unable to achieve alone. The principles of obtaining this 'rest' comes not easy. So often one needs overwhelming difficulties as a wake-up, to fully realize...HELP IS NEEDED. Being ever witnessed, the disturbing emotional anguish of those wanting God to hurry up and simply give what is so selfishly asked for......God is not a vending machine...believe it! God's love is a tough love, with tough and hard work on our part...believe it! All the 'readings' and pretentions to impress shall be meaningless...for of social attention bears it's own rewards, self recognition...

God is not mad at you God is not mad at you. You may be mad at you and disappointed with yourself. Your wife or your husband or your kids may be mad at you. *Insert Jaws theme here* As I posted earlier today, I'm not feeling emotionally or spiritually well today. I struggle with anxiety and depression and it's really weighing me down today. Unfortunately, when I have an episode like this it's almost as if there are these brick walls separating me from God, and I have to put in more effort to break through those walls. This is particularly difficult because one of the side affects of anxiety and depression is lack of motivation. So I've learned from experience that if I sit and do nothing, I only get worse. His truth is marching on. We must see the fields that are ready for harvest. Laborers are few. Pray to the Lord that He will send more laborers into the field. So, let us all bless the Lord with ouf whole heart and all that is within us bless His holy name. He will hear us and send more laborers into His field.

To know HIm is to love Him. To feel His holy presence is to rest in peace, in joy and in happiness. Touch the hem of His garment and You will find a treasure that will make your life and mine full of joy. He is the first thing we can think of. Loneliness and unhappiness dissapear from our life when we do this. Each morning when we rise we should open our windows and look up the sky and see if Jesus is coming back for us to take us all home to heaven. He should be the last thing we can think of before we go to bed. Just rest in His holy presence. Thank Him for being there for you. Hear His voice. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Amen

It's really quite disturbing when we can't find the meaning of our life. It's something we all ask God... what is the purpose of my life... I have seen some examples from people...it's something their story that made them strive and sacrifice and wait for something or someone...Bt for me... I don't knw where am going...God ...let me find out wats going on with me...

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Follow the Lord especially when times are rough, because those are the times you need Him the most, don't look at the things you don't have or the things the Lord has not done in your life yet, but look at the things you do have, the blessings He has given you in the past, Look and list those trials and tribulations He has brought you through. The Lord has pulled you through things you don't even know about. Remember and appreciate what you have today. Thank Him daily, talk to Him, read His word, seek Him, Make the choice focus on the Lord, and not your problems, He is the Way! The enemy wants you to turn away from the Lord, He wants you to doubt God...
