A lot of us what to be closer to God, get to know Him better. I know I do. I want to know everything I possibly can about Him. But what, exactly, do you ask the creator of all things? What do You like to do for fun God? What kind of movies or TV shows do You like God? What's your favorite planet and star? It's definitely something to think about. Of course you could ask the normal questions that I have heard people ask Him before. Why is there so much hate in this world God? Why is there so much crime? To me though, that's not getting to know Him. I want to know more about HIM. Why do you love us so much God? Other than sin, does anything else make you angry? Do you ever get mad at us? What's Your favorite memory God, if you...
Life. Life is hard, no doubt. No one said it would ever be easy though. If life were easy, we’d have no hardships, no pain, no suffering, no rudeness, no hate, no bad situations ever. Who wouldn’t want life to be easy right? Not me. I don’t want life to be easy. Our hardships, I call them experiences, are part of what shapes us. Makes us who we are. Without them, we’d all be the same. We are not all meant to be the same, we are meant to be different, unique. We learn from our hardships and we grow from them. There are reasons we go through them that we may not understand or like, but we are meant to go through them to get us where we NEED to be. So don’t think of your experiences as something negative, think of them as a...
The world syas,"We're" progressive" now.not closed minded like in the past."{Their definition of "progressive" means accepting sins that weren't accepted in the "old days"}.Well one modern thing we see these days that's becoming more "accepted" in our society is transgenderism, changing your sex through surgery. But is that sin? I would say yes, because to me, it's implying that God "made a mistake" letting them be born that way, and they "know better", and want to change what God did. That in itself is a rebellious thought Let alone that they act on it, and change the gender God created them as.Also,in Genesis we read,God created them male and female, not, male who became a female. Before the fall, when things were perfect, can you...
I notice one very annoying habit unsaved people have, that most Christians don't seem to have,is that a Christiuan can RELAX,whereas the world, they can't sit still. they always have to be on the move, running till the wee hours. They get uneasy if they have some down time. They're always looking 10 steps ahead, always need a whole group to do things with them."multitasking" makes them feel important. Now the fact that it's mostly unsaved people doing this,I wonder if it's more then meets the eye here. Maybe that's another distraction of the devil, that if he keeps them busy every minute, they won't have time to check out spiritual things.Coincidence?Or maybe if they have time to think, they'd see their spiritual nakedness,so maybe it's no...
Dear Lord, my thoughts are always before You. Everything I do and say is heard by You. Open my heart ot hear Your voice. Open my eyes to see Your glory. Open my soul to receive Your blessings. You are the beating of my heart. Without You our life will be so empty and lost. The love You have given to all of us, define our existence. Without You we are nothing. When we are tired and discouraged, You are there to lift us up. May heart draw closer to you now and forever more. Amen
We see how Adam and Eve were in the Garden,{before the Fall, obviously}and it seemed like an at ease atmosphere. Then we see what's called"the rat race" today, people always rushing,,{and rushing you}driving like on the raceway, blasting the horn at every little delay, idolization of money,,no patience whatsoever, tailgating,{not to mention how overcrowded the world became}. And I say, isn't the rat race manmade? It can't possibly be from God,if in the Garden things were "mellow".Meaning, is deception only meaning we participate in the occult, can't it also be a mindset of the world?{The ratrace?}Also, if you don't think like them, like want to work 24/7 for money, they say YOU'RE "crazy."The ratrace from God? I don't think so. If anything...
The Lord's Prayer has Two Parts, 1) God's Part, and, 2) Our Part... In the first part, Jesus reminds us to forget our own needs briefly because The God of Heaven already knows what we need before we ask, has become our Father through the blood of Jesus and The Holy Spirit of adoption, that He is in Heaven (that place that is Perfect and Governs Earth). He already knows and cares about our needs since we under His care as children more important than lilies that are splendidly clothed and birds that are well fed. To build our faith, honor and respect, Jesus gives us three God-focused priorities for to pray (His Name Be Honored, His Kingdom Be Promoted [and Actually Appear in Fullness at His 2nd Coming] and His Will would Be...
Many Christians including Hal Lindsey in some of his books talk about the paperless banking will evolve into computerized money control, and eventually the the chip technology(if that's how it happens} to enable the Antichrist. If that's the way, I've seen "signs of the times". The credit union where I make my car payments has done away with deposit/withdrawal slips, and the bank where I have my account, it still has some slips, but says they're not needed anymore, they can do it computerized. So after hearing about it, here I am seeing it with my own eyesNow figuring my info by computer is a different thing than stamping "666"on people, but it's heading in that direction.
