Not long ago I went through a crisis. God is getting me through it. During this time, I learned many lessons. One was that we have to watch who we trust, even if it's a family member. Another is that even if a person does you wrong, still forgive and move on. It's not easy, but it's very important. When a person faces homelessness, as I did, everything changes. When there's a contagious sickness going around, like in flu season, we're told to get vaccinated because one person gets it, then another, and so on.But with spiritual darkness ,I see some similarities.We inherited the fallen nature,which leds us astray. Everyone of us have a gift given by God Himself. One of them is a gift of speech so we will be sharing Jesus with others. A gift of listening carefully. Most people have all kinds of problems in their life and need an ear to hear what they are saying. Ask Jesus for wisdom from heaven to hear and understand what others are telling you. A gift to answer to those in need. But a greater gift people have is to know the Lord personally. To honor Him. To praise Him. To adore His holy name. Hear what God is saying. Hear ye Him. Satan does not want God’s Word to take root in our lives. He will try to choke the Word out of us, snatch God’s Word out of us, or try to make us doubt God's Word.
