I sometimes feel empty spiritually; like I need to know more about the Gospel and salvation. I want to feel closer to God inspite of all my life challenges. I know that nothing can seperate me from God. But I want more.

Lord, we pray in you holy name. Let our request be present with you as you are our God. Be merciful to your children. lead us in thy mighty powers and will. Lead us above the powers of darkness and give us overcoming strength. Make us prosperous in you. because we can't do without you. Teach us you word today, tomorrow and evermore and let you word do us great good. let us understand what to do today for you not what to do for ourselves. Bring that king, President, Queen or emperors that is against your will on your people down, because of all you are for your people. We gives great thanks unto your holy name Lord Jesus Christ. I hear people predicting the year they'll die."I'll live to be x years" My mother used to say she'll die at 90 in a plane crash.But she's 87 now, has health issues, and can't really get around to fly, so she changed it to 100. I watch the wrestling matches, and there was one wrestler who said he'd wrestle till 75, then live to be 150.Both predictions were wrong. So the thing is..my understanding is it's GOD who knows the date of our death,,so if we "pick a time" of our own death, isn't that like, we're proclaiming us, and not God, makes that decision?We can't "choose" the day of our death,only God knows.Right?I've seen this in other categories, too.

When we run away from Jesus then unpleasing things shall happen to all of us. Depression will come. Worry will creep up in our soul. We read,one of the signs of those who believe, "they will pick up serpents, and these will not harm them". However, we also read,"You shall not put the Lord your God to the test".Now then, there's a practice in some Pentecostal churches, in parts of the south,where the pastors pick up venomous snakes during the service, to show their faith.
