We are children of the living God. He has chosen us from the begining of the earth. We were predestined to be His very own. All glory, and honor and praise be to Him who called us from darkness unto His everlasting light. From this time on our life will be so happy, so joyful, so full of peace because we are born from above. He carried us in His own hands to be what we are today. So... When I die, I want to die in peace and joy in the Lord. Singing praises to Jesus. What He has done for us no one can do it. Do not cry out for me over my grave. I am not there anymore. I am not sleeping eternally on earth. I am a thosand even a million miles away. To be with the Lord was my eternal desire. He has completed His...
Let's share this: "Hebrews 10:36 says "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise." Biblical patience is longsuffering or endurance. It is the ability to be placed under intense pressure, without wavering. It's not giving up our beliefs or diverting from godly principles when severely tempted to do so. It’s believing Bible promises in spite of contradicting circumstances. Press in, hold on and don't be swayed today. Have patience and trust in God's timing, so that he might receive the promise of God for your life! Let us pray: "Lord, help me to walk in biblical patience today. I make a commitment to develop the kind of patience that promotes me in Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name...
~Of All Things~
"Of all things, surrender unto God shall be of paramount importance. Vacant of this commitment, the Holy Spirit too, shall be vacant of ones life. Rely not on ones own materialistic self-justification...for here lies a falseness of the heart that shall bring cause of untold confusion and spiritual emptiness." 'Praise God'
Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. 15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. 16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. 17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in his love; He will joy over thee with singing. 18 “I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. 19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and...
I mentioned a time or 2 about how, if the devil can't "rope someone in" with an obvious statement to do something , he might "modify" it, mislead the person into thinking that if done in "this way", then it's alright. One thing I have in mind, modeling.Like, maybe a lot of those models would look down on pornography, yet they pose at least topless, and some completely naked,or practically .And then get around it by saying it's "art" when done that way.Well, wait a minute.A statue is naked , but nobody gets turned on by statue. But say, a young "lady" showing her stuff{also on the internet, for all to see,} and stirring up mens passions, also, she could be engaged, and she's showing her body in that fashion to any man who sees it, I...
Okay, I can't figure this out.The Bible says,"It is appointed unto men once to die, then after this the judgement."Now the word "once" means a single time...agree?. And it's in the Bible. But then I hear about these ,I'll call them zombies,in the hospital, who you hear of, who say, and the doctors confirm, that they were dead, and some even died 3 times, but were"resurected" by the drs., and came back to life!!Furthermore, to back up that they "died", they give accounts that they went to Heaven or Hell, confirming the doctors story that they were dead!!Now this is weird and inexplicable to me, because the Bible says, "It is appointed unto men ONCE to die", not 3 times in one night, live a few more years, then die again,{permanently this...
In my journey as a child of God, the first steps I took were to learn to be humble. And to be resilient. I started small like waiting in a long queue; instead of being grumpy I shifted focus, stopped looking at the clock, listened selectively to voices around me who would be grumpy and loud as well as impatient. That way I found piece within me. Being part of the prayer worriers has provided me with a stable support system; sharing experiences; learning different approach from different people. I thank God for this site. Martha
May be our first love is the one who sticks with us wherever we go and cares for us. But someday, somewhere that first love will run away from us and leave us for good. Jesus will never ever do this to you or to me. Remember that your first love is not the first person you dated or love. Your first love is the person whom you will never ever forget. You will remember till the day you die. He has turned your dark into a daylight. You o Lord, keep my light burning. My God turns my darkness into light. When He first touched you and changed you, that day you and I will never forget. Praise the Lord.
