This is for anyone who may be facing the possibility that one of their parents isn't really theirs. It has been something I have been facing for years. My conclusion, at first, was that I was generally unwanted. But clues have come out that lead things in a different direction. Although the possibility that my father wasn't really my "father", God has seen me through all kinds of things in my life and I refuse to not go forward. Always know that as a person there will be people who truly love you and they do not have to be blood related. And, God will soothe your aching heart during these rough trials.
If you are chasing money, you will never had enough. You will want more and more till you get so tired of getting it. Jesus alone will satisfy the longing of your heart. When you get your life in order, done all according to Gods word, then real prosperity shall come. Focus on giving yourself to the service of God. Be an usher in the house of the Lord. An elder to help those who need it. Teach Sunday School to children. The more you are involved in Gods work you will prosper in your spiritual health. Submit to Gods will and obey what He said. Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord.
When we come to Jesus and start to loving Him, praising Him, adoring Him and working in whatever place He send us... then we are loved, we are cared for and we are on our way to see our real Father who love is and cares for us. Who are the real orphans in this world you may ask? The homeless are orphans who roam the streets of our city. Can someone go and tell them that Jesus loves them and cares for them? Those who left the church are homeless and orphans. They are so far away from God and now drink, party and love the world so much they are on their way to hell. Those who reject Jesus and His word are orphans. The atheists, the agnostics, the humanists, the socialists and the skeptics also are orphans because they refuse to...
THE ASSIGNMENT The Statue of Liberty Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name, Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. “Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door Emma Lazarus 1849 – 1887 (And again, “Lazarus come forth”) We all have...
When we see a certain "trend" occurring, and everyone is "jumping on the bandwagon" and following it, I don't think it's just by chance. There's a reason.because notice most of the trends have something in common__they're not in sync with the Bible, and Gods laws. Like, how many times have I heard people sound enthusiastic about astrology,"we think alike because we're both{fill in sign'}"I'm like that because I'm a {fill in sign}It catches on, until people feel "out of the loop"if they DON'T get into it.It's the I"in thing".How about yoga? When you look up about a public figure that sounds interesting, what do you hear about them."In her spare time she goes to yoga classes."All over, even on tv commercials, you see some lady in a yoga...
2 Timothy 1:12b (NKJV): I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. Psalm 17:8 (NKJV): Keep me as the apple of Your eye. Hide me under the shadow of Your wing. Proverbs 7:2 (NKJV): Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Prayer Focus: God I commit myself to You. God I ask You in Jesus’ name keep me. Keep me committed unto You. Keep me as the apple of Your eye. God keep me and cause me to keep Your commands and Your Word as the apple of my eye. God please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I care about. Jesus Thank You. Amen!
When Jesus called people like the Pharisees hypocrites, I don't think He meant it as a compliment. But something happened recently that gives an example of hypocrisy. We've all seen how certain godless "liberals",when a Christian stands up for their principles, and a baker doesn't want to bake a cake for a gay "wedding",they're calling for all kinds of disciplinary actions{Or a Christian doctor doesn't want to perform an abortion}.BUT, when it's "the other side" doing it,like Trump spokesperson Sarah Huckabee ,Sanders, is denied accces to a restaurant of her choice because they don't approve of Trumps views, why then, because it's "them" doing it to the "other side",then of course it's alright. In other words, "their" side can make that...
People make mistakes all the time. We are not perfect. We need Gods grace, mercy and wisdom that comes from heaven. Our daily prayer should be... Dear Lord, Give us a new morning to see Your face. To love You more than ever before. To care for the lost and pray for them. Give us a new dawn, In which to come to Your holy presence, To worship You. To praise you, To adore Your holy name. Let us feel the coolness of Your presence. Your love and mercy. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strenght of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73.26
