In his strength Monday 10th December 2018 'It is...by my Spirit,' says the Lord.' Zechariah 4:6 NLT Sometimes it feels like we don't have what it takes to do something for God. Or we feel that nobody is walking with us in our calling. It's easy to become discouraged and give up. But God never leaves us to face anything on our own. Zerubbabel was called to rebuild the temple. It was a huge task, but God reassured him, 'It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit' (Zechariah 4:6 NLT). We can't do everything on our own, we need to be dependent on God. When we don't include him in what we're doing, we could end up in a worse situation. Samson discovered this: 'He awoke from his sleep and thought, "I'll go out as before and shake...
Just want to take a moment to Congratulate New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and their new Senior Pastor, Dr. ###. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Many have voiced negative judgement against this man, but this is what I know from experience, God does not choose perfect people because such does not exist. Man, oftentimes finds himself entrapped in sin when he chooses to select from those who look perfect according their outer cup. Can we just keep it real for a minute? You see, some folk are of the misconception that Dr. ###’s sins are more sinful than their lying, cheating, stealing, sleeping with the pastor’s wife/husband, sleeping with choir members (1 Corinthians 5). But, when God grants you a pardon, you don’t place your own stipulations on...
Alpha and betha state of our mind. Scientifically proven. Adults are in the betha state when they are awake. Reasoning, analytical mind. Kids are from the age 5-9 in the alpha state all the time. No analytical mind, just imagination, everything seems real, even imagination. We as adults are in that alpha state (when we are awake) only early in the morning. And Jesus said to us to be as little children. Children believe what you say to them. Why don't we believe more? Because we have that analytical mind who is reasoning everything. Sleep 8 hours, ask God to give you dreams that will deliver you and give you progress. Invest in that time in the morning with God because the first 1-2 hours in the morning you are in that alpha state...

Hard work and rest Saturday 8th December 2018 'Work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.' Colossians 3:23 NIV Whether for our exams, our job or our relationships, hard work pays off. Sometimes we may start something with loads of energy and passion, only to become discouraged and stop working towards achieving what we set out to do. Maybe we don't see the progress we wanted, or maybe nobody recognises the hard work we're putting in. But the Bible tells us: 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters' (Colossians 3:23 NIV). When we think we're working for people, it's easy to become discouraged or not give it our all. But when we remember we're working for God...
My hearts desire is to be with the Lord. But He wants me to be here on earth to share Jesus with everyone I find at the airport, at the bus station, at work and at home. Anywhere I go, I shall do this all the days of my life. Jesus, I love You so much. What a wonder You are to all of us. So precious to all who love You with all their heart mind and soul.
I think about this for almost a year now and just don’t know what I should do. I have a friend I can’t handle because she has some mental problems and we also had fights and misunderstandings in the past. She came to Europe from the US about 2 years ago. Married some-not very nice- guy and struggles with depression here. She doesn’t work, is not reliable and I don’t feel comfortable meeting her anymore. She’s not a bad person and I still have love for her. But I don’t want drama and insecurity in my life. I’m the only friend she has. So I feel responsible. I feel bad that I feel this way, because God doesn’t reject me either. I feel like I MUST be there for her because Jesus would’ve done that. But my bad feelings for her don’t...
