Despite what the "name it and claim it" branch of Christianity tells us, sometimes "claiming the opposite of the circumstances" doesn't always work. Some problems are more stubborn than others. With me this has happened, but also I've heard of it in other cases with other people. What reminded me of this is a news item I heard. The dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, is now in critical condition. I thought, those people in North Korea had his father as a dictator, then him, if he dies they'll be free of dictatorship. But then I heard his sister is as ruthless as them, and she would take over. So much for their "dictatorship problems" ending. That's one example. In my own life, I've had maybe a problem, I think of a way out, {or even...
You know, I don't think things happen by coincidence in prophecy, and the way things go. What is the mark of the beast? Well, if no one can buy or sell, and more I hear about the cashless society, I would say it's financial in nature. Now if the world currencies are strong, everyone is doing good as is, and if someone like the Antichrist came along during GOOD financial times, he "wouldn't be necessary and would be laughed off. NOW..what has happened with this coronavirus? It's really taken a toll on the economy of the whole world, where if it continues, no one will be able to function. Everyone will go broke. And if we fall so far back that we can't get up (which, if they keep setting back the date of "reopening," we WILL all go down...
Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. Daniel 10:12-13 After Daniel prayed for three weeks for understanding of the vision he had seen, a “certain man” (angel) appeared before him with answers. He revealed to Daniel that he had set out from heaven on the first day of Daniel’s prayers, but that he had been obstructed by a demonic angel—the prince of Persia—for 21 days. That is, the...
This is a question that I've asked, that I've heard other Christians ask, that I've even heard one unsaved person ask about another. But here goes...don't know if this has happened to some of you, but...I try something, to better my situation, some glitch occurs and I get defeated. I might "play my cards right", have a good plan. But even while I'm licking my wounds, I hear from a reliable source that some unsaved person into some pretty bad sins the thing I got jobbed out of, he easily got it! It could be financial, social, you name it. Now I used to think WE would have it better than THEM, because God is backing us. Yet they seem to surpass "us" time and again. Why is this happening, is God passing up His own for some sinful unsaved...
The obvious answer is, " Of course not!" This question reveals much about God. Make it a habit to insert your specific needs into the question. " Is this day in my life too hard for the Lord?" "Is this habit I'm trying to break too hard for him?" Asking the question this way reminds you that God is personally involved in your life and nudges you to ask for his power to help you. God's ability to restore life is beyond our understanding. Forests burn down and are able to grow back. Broken bones heal. Even grief is not a permanent condition. Our tears can be seeds that will grow into a harvest of joy because God is able to bring good out of tragedy. When burdened by sorrow, know that your times of grief will end and that you will again find joy. We must be patient as we wait. God's great harvest of joy is coming From Life Application Study Bible

Father, thank You for the funding, for the FDA allowing The 2nd U.S. vaccine to start phase one trials and the rest to follow. Thank you that chloroquine is working (though they don’t know exactly how is a little irrelevant at present given the conditions they are dying), as well as the remdesivir... We thank you for the other vaccines in the U.S. and worldwide pipeline — bless the humans that have elected to do trial runs, continue to fast-track the products in the pipeline and beat the devil off these companies! Really... Does anyone think we are wrestling against mere flesh and blood? (Eph 6:11-12). Also please pray for the U.S. Economy. We may very well be the agent The Holy Spirit restrains antichrist with (2 Thes 2:6-7)— The Greek...
“Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:1-2, 5-7‬ ‭ https://www.bible.com/100/rom.13.1-2,5-7.nasb
